i started my period yesterday

but i wasnt happy with that
since a few of my underwears are totally stained
so i got a tampon
and i slept in it
and 1st thing this morning i took it out
and got a pad
and then about 2:30 ish
i got a tampon and put it in
and its sooo much more comfortable than that other tampon [the one im wearing now is a sports one]
and i was wondering what do i do when i have to pee

i usually dont !ihave been using them for a yr now and always wen i put it in a pull the string forward because if not you can have a disastrous mess with wen you sit down being that the stringis wedged between you and your undrwear that it could get stuck and wen you sit it can be pulled out so ultimately wen you go to the batheroom its ther just holdit so it doesnt fall down and you pee on it cuase then you could have problem!!so no you dont and being that you cant reuse tampons you would be using alot of them for every time you go pee and that can get expensive !!sometimes theurge to go to the batheroom is greater becuase of the pressure the tampon outs on yer bladder! also you can make your self raw by pulling tampons out all the time and that hurts like hell !and switching from pads to tampons is a good thing to do !!

hope i helped!

I def. recommend not sleeping in a tampon, it may cause TSS. BUT as far as going to the bathroom with it in.. its actually totally fine to keep it in.. like if you have bad "flow" i would take it out but if your very light and you can wear it the full 6 hours but have be go to the bathroom its totally fine to keep it in.. just make sure your wearing a pantiliner because the string may be wet.. if that would bug you just change it!

Its not the best idea in the world to sleep in a tampon..(but hey, I have no rom to talk because I do it...) It is a little risky...they DO make overnight pads for when accidents may occur...as for peeing with your tampon in, PLEASE PLEASE dont listen to the girl who said to take it out or anyone else who might tell you the same thing. Your urin does NOT come from the vagina wich is where you need to place your tampon. You pee out of a tiny little hole (not very vissible) above the vagina and below the clitoris called the urethra. Despite what suprisingly MANY girls think, you dont pee from your vagina. You can google this if ya want, or look up urethra in the dictionary, but your just fine peeing with it in, unless its time to change it out, then by all means take it out! lol, good luck and I hope that I helped ya!

HubbaBubbaHelp answered Saturday March 17 2007, 6:08 pm:
Well, sleeping with a tampon is really bad cause you can get TSS (toxic shock syndrom) which can possibly kill you...want more info read those little pamphlets in the tampon boxes...anyways, it doesn't matter if you wear a tampon while peeing just for the fact that your tampon is in a totally different area then your tampon is (there's a different hole for your pee) so unless you need to remove your tampon at the same time you need to pee, just leave it in. but if you are removing it at the same time, i would remove it first, just for the fact that pee on your hands is a little gross, it won't hurt you, cause you wash your hands after word, but it's just the fact of it.

i would reccomend taking it out before you pee just so you wont have to spend like another hour or w.e with like a peed on tampon

haha just a thought.

and for overnight i would wear a pad just in case you sleep in and cant change it.

We'll it's actually not good to sleep in tampons. They say you can keep tampons in for up to 8 hours, but personally I would change it every 4-6 hours. Because you can get a UTI (urinary tract infection) from not changing your pad or tampon often, and belive me because I experience it, they are extremely unpleasent. Also, you can go pee with a tampon in, sometimes they don't work as good afterwards, but for the most part its good. I've heard that once your lower body touches the water you don't bleed, but stil wear a tampon when your going into the water. And as for the sport being more comfortable then the regular, its all preferance. Hope I helped and told you everything you need to know, I kinda rambaled on hah :)

You can pee when you wear tampons, it's fine.
But if you want to, you can take it out and put a new one in, it's totally up to you. :]
