Will my childern hate me?
So I've picked names out and I've liked them forever, and I've wanted to name my kids these names.
But my family doesn't like them.
so here we go-

Tobias
Pilot
Asha or Sasha
Lucas
&
Gavin

Tobias, Lucas and Gavin are all fine. They're nice, fairly unique names without being too weird.
However, remember that your baby's father has a say in naming them too!
(I would love to name a boy Thaddeus or Atticus, but there's no way I'll be able to; my boyfriend would never let me!)
Maybe for the other names, you could come up with a compromise, and use them as middle names?

I like lucas and gavin but some of the others are unusual. But if you want to name your kids that then go for it. Their YOUR kids so do what you want. :)

if my name was tobias id hate you. pilot would be ok
asha and sasha for a boy, would be HORRIBLE but for a girl, i know 1 asha and 2 sashas (dont name a son anything that ends with an A!)

They probably won't hate you. I like those names except Asha or Sasha, I'm not a big fan of but the rest seem fine to me. But remember make sure you choose a name that you really love and that your kids will have for the rest of there lives.

Aw, Tobias is such a cute name! Asha and Sasha are kind of girly, but definitely acceptable. Lucas and Gavin are great. The only one that your future son might not be too pleased with would be Pilot. He'd prolly be the root of a few too many jokes. Try not to name your kids after occupations. Pilot can also mean "a preliminary or experimental trial or test", you know, like a TV show pilot? You don't really want your son to be seen as an experiment or test haha. Anyway, if you're really set on that name, well there are much worse things you could name him and it's definitely a creative, original, cool name. :)
Keep in mind that the father of these children might have a name he'd like to use too!

Asha/Sasha might be a bit girlie.
I know a guy named Sasha and he gets made fun of a lot...
if you really like Tobias you could just make it Toby...
A lot of naming kids can have a lot to do with the area too.
Like naming a kid "canyon" and living in Northern VA (where im from) the kid would probally get made fun of...
but in like California it wouldnt be a big deal...
When it all comes down to it naming a child is up to the mother and the father.

it's the most common girls name for not only my birthyear; but like overall.
Number 2? EMMA!
i would have much rather had the other name...so you can never really tell...
None of those names up there are overly common; or way too out there...
Honestly i would say just go with what YOU want.
