how can i get fit and lose weight thr right way?

i have been trying to lose weight for a little while now and my friends say i dont need to but recently last year i had an eating disorder and i got over it. i cant spot eating unhealthy food and find it hard to get motivated to do excersise. because i know if i dont then it will drive me straight back to the eating disorder i had and i dont want that. how can i stop myself from eating the wrong foods and excersising more so i start to feel good about myself again???

excercise! run, swim, do sports, anything that keeps you moving! cut down on salty and sugary foods, and foods with starch such as potatoes and mashed potatoes. heres 2 meal plans that i got from Seventeen:

Breakfast:

3/4 cup cheerios
1 cup low fat milk or soy milk
1 medium banana
--------------------
mid-morning snack:

20 peanuts
3/4 (6oz) low fat plain yougurt
--------------------
lunch:

2 slices whole wheat bread
4 slices turkey breast cold cuts
1 slice of american cheese
1 tsp. mayonaise
and with your sandwich:
1 cup raw carrots
1 glass of milk
---------------------
evening snack:

3/4 cup blueberries
2 small chocolate chip cookies
-------------------------
dinner:

3 oz grilled chicken
1 whole wheat tortilla
1 tbsp low fat sour cream
1/2 cup salsa
1/2 cup cooked broccoli
1 glass of water




meal plan #2

breakfast:

make a frenchtoast sandwich! Top 1 piece of homemade or frozen french toast with sliced strawberries and a sliced half of banana. Put another piece of french toast on top, and cut it in half. Drink a glass of milk.

midmorning snack:

Munch on a combo of 1 cup cheerios, 1/4 cup raisins, and 2 tablespoons of peanuts. Drink a glass of water.

Lunch:

Make a burrito sandwich by rolling up 4 slices of turkey, 2 lettuce leaves, and chopped up tomato in a whole wheat tortilla. Drink a glass of milk. For sweet stuff, eat an apple and a cup of low-fat jello.

afternoon snack:

in a blender, combine 1/2 cup each of your favorite fruit juice, low fat yougurt, and cut up fruit. add a few ice cubes. cover the blender and blend until smooth. eat pretzels for a salty treet to go with your sweet smoothie.

dinner:

Dig into a plate of spaghetti and meat sauce, 1 breadstick, 1 cup of sugar snap peas, and a glass of milk.

also replace the foods you love with other foods, like instead of icecream eat frozen yougurt, instead of cookies eat fruit, and instead of candy eat some fat-free candy or try eating a lot of vegetables.
follow these methods and you should loose weight! don't forget to drink ALOT of water and excercise. hope i helped and good luck!

Well I dont advise you to go on a crash diet cause I kinda did that and I almost had to go to the hospital put I would do the same thing you are doing but eat half as much as you would eat proportions of what you usually eat. Eat fruit drink water instead of pop or if you want try to drink a diet pop instead of regular pop. About exercising you have to motivate yourself but if you are exercising dont over do it. Exercise for thirty minutes and stretch. Lay off the sweets eat one once in awhile. I hope this helped in anyway.

just eat healthy food and just don't push yourself to be skinny. it will come in time

the main problem i think thats going on is that you had an eating disorder.

first, do not exercise for more than an hour

after exercising, eat pasta to gain all the nutrients you lost.

then drink plenty of water.

you might want to eat a LITTLE bit of diet food every once in a while.

but go out to Macdonald's every month or so.

Hi,

Well, why not try eating alot of healthy food, like fruit, smoothies (that have fruit in) try not to eat too much chips (french fries and chips (crisps)) don't eat too much with carbs (carbrohydrates) such as pasta and rice.
Well, if you go to school, then your school always should have the facility of a gym, sports hall or it must be big, so why not use some of those facilities or go to a gym out-side of school. You can also try and go for a walk every night in the evening and then after about 2months of that then you could try running, but the same distance, also with this still try and go to the gym.
These should help. If not try going onto the internet for some extra professional help like

something along those linees and you will be OK. But don't lose too much weight because you might end up anerecic (this isn't to scar you) you might aswell go and ask your mom/mum about this problem you seem to have, mums/moms always love helping there daughters/sons.
