ahh i feel horrible for thinking this
i have a little situation...my best friend who i've know all my life, shes always been there i really can't remember my life without her in it. and recently we've been working out and trying to get in shape for s.b 07..and anyways i hateee that i'm saying this and thinking this, but like er i sometimes don't wanna go places with her because shes not really like pretty and i hate that i just said that. and i wanna give her a makeover because she could be soo pretty if she only wore cuter clothes for her body did some stuff with her hair, and other stuff. but i don't know what to do. i don't wanna tell her that or anything but i don't know what to do. and i just feel horrible for ever thinking. so ah i don't know what to do!

Maybe she likes the way she looks. Maybe she doesn't want to be bothered with makeup or fancy hair or clothes she doesn't like.
It's not a nice thought, no, but the fact that you recognise that is a GOOD thing. If you admit your feelings, you can begin to challenge them.
Why don't you want to be seen with her? I'm guessing it's not just because you think she doesn't look good, but because of how her appearance will reflect on you. What makes you so insecure, and how can you combat that to accept her for who she is and not care so much about what other people think? What would change if she was prettier? Would it really change the way you feel about yourself, or would you just find something else to be ashamed of?
Please don't take this as an attack. They're genuine questions that I think you should gently pose to yourself. Once you find the answers you'll be happier with yourself, or at least on the right path.

omg how can you be so harsh.True freinds accept freinds the way they are,with all their faults and whats good about them.Are looks really everything to you?If so,then your not worthy of this girls freindship.She never did anything bad to you or did anything to hurt you and was alywas there for you riiiite?Then looks shouldnt matter!How would you feel if your freind thought the same about you? uh huh!pretty hurt!And if you do tell her to get a makeover...how will you say it in a way that wont hurt her feelings?come on,any way youll say it will hurt her!And mabey shes happy with the way she looks....if NOT...then you can give her a few ideas on what to do or how to change her looks thats IF shes not happy with her looks,if she is then dont try to change her if you dont want to lose your freind over this nonsence.

Simply have her stay the night and while there suggest you give eachother make overs, and once she sees how great she looks, she might decide to look like that in public! Also it will be super fun.

well, i know you dont like being seen with her in public (-_-;) but you should go to like a mall, or go shopping with her, and bring her into place, and just be like "omg you'd look SO cute in this!" stop at the make up stores and just kinda play dress up! it'd be fun, just compliment her lots, and if u do get that far with her, if you can convince her to wear something like that to school, and if you know a guy she likes personally, just convince him to compliment her!

dont feel bad. its ok. just go up to her and be like omg you know what would be cute for you?! and pick out some clothes or do her hair a certain way and be like you look great you should do that more often! hope i helped

play "stranger" say its a game and try diff makeup and let her wear some of your clothes and try to look like a whole new person!! then at the end say
"you look really cute in that top you can borrow it some time!"
also
"omg i just relized you should get your hair done like_____!"
orr
"hey that makeup color looks great on you you should wear it more often!"
you know give her ideas!
or go shoping with her for clothes and tell her to try on some stuff to convince her how good she looks with them!
heres the tip, you dont have to cause problems and tell her about how she needs changes, make her relize it!!
or on holdays buy her diffrent makeups, cute clothes, and mabie take her out to luch and tell her that you think she will really look good in those clothes! say something like
"i loved that top i was gunna get it for me, but when i looked at it it said ur name all over it! =]"
mabie when she starts wearing the cuter clothes people will complement her on them and she will ask you to help her pick out more clothes like it!

just try and spice up her style by coming over her house wit clothes and say wanna try some on 'for fun' and then complement her on how hot she looks and that she should keep this stuff.
