There are 2 parts to this question. If you are asking about what type of job you can get, that is really up to you and where you live. What would you like to do? If you are asking about places that will hire a 14-year old, that's different. Some states require a work permit for people under 16. Where I live, a work permit is an agreement between your parents and your employer that you can only work a certain number of hours per week, can't work later than 8 pm on a school night, etc. Your school should have this info. I know from experience that it will impress some employers if you already have this info before you apply for the job. Good luck!

hm. i'm having the same problem as you. i'm 14 and it's pretty much impossible to find anything good! i can work at mcdonalds, but uh i really don't wanna work there. you can try maybe a pet groomer or something? when i'm 15, which is in june i'm going to try a grocery store + maybe like a ice cream store. idk. but keep trying? hopee i helped! <33

Well it all depends on where you live. Some places in Western NY hire kids at 15, but at most of these places you gotta be 16. So, I'd check with the places where you live & ask.
