Was Kurt a happy guy,or was he sad? This is something that's always bothered me,because I've heard that he was generally a fairly happy (or at least average)person, but I've also heard that he was upset with his life and felt very isolated (which would make sense because of his lyrics, his upbringing, and the crowd that he was trying to reach).I know that no one could really know for sure, but what do you think?
Daimeera answered Friday February 2 2007, 3:47 pm: Some people speculate that he was bipolar. That would account for some of his "ups" and his "downs." But from the sounds of things, it was the downs that ultimately got to him. No one who's content kills himself. [ Daimeera's advice column | Ask Daimeera A Question ]
Brandi_S answered Friday February 2 2007, 3:06 pm: Had to have had some serious depression issues to kill himself and leave behind a baby girl to be raised by an alcoholic, drug addicted, crazy woman who really doubtfully has any business raising children. (Sorry Courtney Love fans, but we all know what kind of person she is.)
I love Nirvana music and was very sad to hear of his death back when I was in highschool, but even then I knew how selfish of an act that was, thinking on his daughter's behalf.
As for being fairly happy, I would say that was possibly an induced feeling brought on by addictions? If he was fairly happy, he would still be here being a father to his child. [ Brandi_S's advice column | Ask Brandi_S A Question ]
MikeCFT answered Friday February 2 2007, 1:45 pm: Considering he blew his head off- I would venture a guess that he wasn't too happy with life.
karenR answered Friday February 2 2007, 1:45 pm: I think he was a depressed person. Any appearance of happiness was probably drug induced. He was married to an equally depressed alcohol and drug abuser. I think his life was probably awful despite his success. [ karenR's advice column | Ask karenR A Question ]
