Symptoms of bleeding within the brain (intracranial hemorrhage) include loss of consciousness, sudden and severe headache, nausea, vomiting, incontinence, and blurred vision. A stiff neck can occur as the result of increased pressure within the skull and irritation of the meninges. Impairments caused by local brain tissue damage on the bleed site are possible, including seizure, hemiparesis, a loss of touch sensation on one side of the body, or deficits in language processing (aphasia). A variety of other symptoms can accompany this type of cerebrovascular accident.
On the other hand, about that other question you asked 'how fast would it kill you',I quote, that is something that goes back to god ,only god knows when and where. Therefore, unfortunately, i can not answer this question. But it sometimes takes too little of time and sometimes it stays for long before you die depending on the condition and which part of the brain was affected most and so on.
I hope i answered your question and was of help to you. If you have any other inquires or problems of any topic, please be free to contact me by a private message or an email.Take care. [ Lola's advice column | Ask Lola A Question ]

karenR answered Friday February 2 2007, 12:34 am: A blow to the head should always be treated as an emergency. Best way to handle is DO NOT move the person, but to call an ambulance.
How fast it would kill you would depend on how much it was bleeding. Bleeding or fluid running from ear is a very serious emergency.
Some symptoms include: unconsciousness, abnormal breathing, obvious serious wound or fracture
bleeding or clear fluid from the nose, ear, or mouth, disturbance of speech or vision, pupils of unequal size, weakness or paralysis, dizziness, neck pain or stiffness, seizure, vomiting more than two to three times, loss of bladder or bowel control.
