a little while back, my bf broke up with me and it absolutely devasted me *he was my first serious relationship*. and you know we talked everything through, i just didn't know why he broke up with me. so i didn't want him totally out of my life and wanted him as a friend more than nothing, so that's what i was...a friend. he still called me and we hung out everyday and we acted the same way towards each other as we did when we were together. and i believe that it was that that made him want to get back together...he just saw i wasn't bitter, i wasn't trying to "get back at him" and that i sincerely just wanted him in my life and in the end, we got back together and are STILL together today.

and moving on, sometimes it's best to look at how he is handling the situation because it will say a lot about his character and how he really feels about you...it could determine whether you are still head over heels or whether you'll be thinking "what a jerk"

It depends who broke up with who, and why you broke up. If he broke up with you & decides he misses you, he'll come back. And if you break up with him, and he still misses you, he'll do his hardest until your his again.

For moving on, time heals everything.

to get him back: it depends on why you broke up in the first place if you broke up just to break up then theres a vry big chance u could get back together. but u have to give a little time for everything which sucks!

Moving On: Meet new people, see if there is anyone you know you want to get to know. Try to get your mind off of him... doing stuff that doesnt remind you of him. I know it might be hard at first, trust me, but you will, sooner or later.
As for "winning him back": Try talking to him and telling him how you feel if you still have feelings for him. Try and see if he may have feelings for you? Like looks, hints... stuff like that. You could always make him jealous, but that doesnt always work. Make sure you really want him back before doing anything like that.

Hey. As for moving on just get out into the world and have fun. Find other guys who you can go out with and would really like. This will keep your mind off the person you're trying to "move on" from. As for winning your boyfriend back, going out with someone else will definitely be a plus since it will make him jealous or upset he lost you. Or you can talk to him and try to work things out or write to him about how you feel. I really hope this helped and good luck! =)
