liking best friends boyfriend
ok so one of my best friends is jamie. jamie and alex(who is a boy) like each other but they're not going out because jamie doesnt like him that much. she still likes him though. well alex and i talk and flirt alot and i think i'm starting to really like him. i can't do anything because of jamie though and i dont know why this is happenign! i feel like such a bad person. what do i do?

Hey. You're not a bad person for liking Alex! Just talk to your friend about how you feel. She should be understanding and supportive like you were with her. You said she really doesn't like him that much either and if you really do then you should definitely go out with him. I'm sure she will understand once you talk to her. No, you're not a bad person at all. If you really like this guy, you should talk to your friend about it. Tell her how you feel and explain to her that you really like this guy. And see what she has to say, however, I would not base my decision soley on what she thinks.
After talking to her about, if you really want to date this guy, then that's what I would do. It's completely up to you, I say do whatever makes you feel more comfortable.

if you dont think its true true love, i would try to not like him. friends are 4 ever, boyz just break your heart. you could try to tell your friend you like him, and if you dont think shell be okay with it maybe shes not such a good friend. if you like him so much you cant live without him, forget your friend, and go for it! True love lasts forever, and if you think it will last longer then your friendship, go for it! just dont gush to your friend about adorable things he does, because shes going to be jelous already. when your with her dont talk about him, and dont ditch her for him. lemme know how it works out!

Well, she doesn't like him that much. He isn't her boyfriend, so it's not like she has "dibs" on the guy.
If you are more interested in this guy than she is, talk to her about it. Make sure not to get into fights or anything about it, but if she doesn't like him that much, why should you have to hold out?
