If your wife states she is a virgin, why not believe her? Trust and communication are hugely important in every relationship, and it's not the strongest start to married life to be doubting her already.

But just as others have said a womens hymen can break from many difrent things such as sports, using female menstation products like tampons ect... but the braking of the hymen does not declare the los of virginity... infact it is the penis and only the penis inserted in the vaginal opening that can declare the los of virginity.
also u say that YOU felt she had no pain during intercours... maybe you should ask her if she found it painful. And again every women is diffrent and dont all bleed or feel pain during intercours.

Hymens can break from sports like swimming soccer horseback riding, etc. It could have jsut not developed at all. She could've broken it form falling or just masturbating previous to this.
