The male and female condom should NOT be worn at the same time, for the exact reason 2 male condoms should not be worn simultaneously.

Wearing two condoms means they will be rubbing against each other. This friction can cause one or both to break.

You are much more protected from pregnancy by only using one condom, whether it's male or female.

If you're referring as the female condom as a diaphragm, yes.. you can wear both. But it's not a very good idea. Just one condom & you being on birth control is more ideal. That way you both are protected even if one protection fails.

noooo .. not at all.. if you use two.. the condom is more likely to rip casue its tooo dry.. then your basically screwed... i would trust the boy to wear one.. just cause i personally dont think girl condoms are welll worked on by condom corp. as boy condoms.. but your best bet if your gonna have sex is ask to be out on birth control and use a condom.... i know itll be awkward to talk to that about with your parents.. but itd be less awkward then then telling them your pregnat.. get it?

I don't think DRad8t88's knows the difference between a diaphragm and a female condom but yes, female condoms do exist. They aren't as good as male condoms and you should -not- both use condoms. The friction between them will cause one or both of them to tear. A safer choice is for him to use a condom and for you to be on birth control.

First of all, the other guy who answered the question doesn't know what he's talking about. Secondly girls don't wear condoms, the insert diaphragms, and yes using both is even more safe. If you use a diaphragm though, it is important to use spermicide which is effecive for about two hours, therefore the diaphragm should be inserted about two hours before you plan to have sex...God technicalities..i know...

No, it actually increases the chance of condom breakage if both male and female use it. It's better if you use one.

Its best to just pick one person to wear the condom. Since some guys see it as a hassle... let the woman wear it, and let the guy feel more "free". Like I said.. its best to wear only one!
