16/f. how do i get birth control without my parents knowing? do i just go to the doctor and ask, or how does it work? also will my parents ever find out (like does the doctor tell them or anything) i just need someone who is experienced to fill me in. thank you
gateway01 answered Monday January 22 2007, 11:44 pm: There are many kinds of birth control. If your looking for something simple like the pill or the patch then you can just buy it at the local pharmacy (no subscription necassary) But if you want something doctor approved my gf got the doctor to give her a needle and i think it was once a month (consult your doctor about that one) but as far as doctors telling parents goes, if you go to the doctors alone and your parents are told by the doctor then they can lose their job, even go to jail. A doctor is not allowed to give out any information as long as you tell them that you do not want anyone to know.
Hope I could help o^-^o [ gateway01's advice column | Ask gateway01 A Question ]
