illdomybest answered Wednesday January 24 2007, 8:56 pm: well you realy should diet first because if you gain muscle while excercising it will be harder to lose weight. id suggest something like weight watchers or smartones but if you dont like that kind of thing you could eat waterbased foods.you could also work out a diet plan with your doctor. No matter what diet your on (unless you don't eat anything at all, which makes you gain more than you lost in the end) you have to exercise. And exercising in small amounts could help, too. And, exercising also helps long-term; you stay healthy from doing it, and it makes you feel a lot better. [ xcheerbabex108's advice column | Ask xcheerbabex108 A Question ]
Daimeera answered Monday January 22 2007, 11:39 am: You're not going to lose 15 pounds in a month, at least not in a healthy way. In fact, I doubt you could lose 15 pounds in a month in an UNHEALTHY way, either.
As said below, you need to exercise. It's as simple as that. No one says you have to go for a run or spend countless hours on a treadmill. Play badminton. Go for a walk outside. Go swimming. Take up juggling. Find something that gets you moving.
Eat properly and that too will help, but to be healthy, you need a balance of activity and nutrition. Cut out MOST, but not all junk food, or you'll get major cravings and end up binging. Allow yourself one treat a week, for instance. Then you know it's there, and once it's gone, it's gone.
Eat fruits and veggies. Don't drink away empty calories, for instance pop, high-calorie hot chocolate, anything along those lines. If you drink juice, it should be actual juice, not the kind that's almost entirely sugar and has virtually no fruit in it (I do recommend drinking a glass of juice in the morning, though--orange and apple are good and wake you up). Choose lean cuts of meat. Eat several small meals a day. Don't deprive yourself or that will lead to a binge.
It's a balancing act. You can't just stop eating or change your diet and expect to lose weight. Not only will you be unhealthy, but it also simply won't work.
christina answered Monday January 22 2007, 5:12 am: No matter if you eat healthy or not, exercise helps. It's good for you anyways, so do it wether you like it or not. But besides that, don't eat after 5pm. Eat healthy, and exercise a lot. Drink tons of water, and make your meals smaller.
xo_minela answered Sunday January 21 2007, 11:19 pm: No matter what you eat, you have to excersize in order to lose weight. Since you want to lose about 15 pounds you should go to the grocery store and buy those meals that are made by weight watchers, or any of those dieting foods. They are very affordable, and anyone can eat them. While you do that you should RUN, running helps you lose fat everywhere around the body all at once. When you don`t have the chance to run; you can do 50 curl-ups it works very very well. If you stick to a well-balanced diet, you will be AMAZED by the results you will be seeing in just about 5 days. Good Luck & If you need any further help just drop one in the inbox! I hope I helped ♥ [ xo_minela's advice column | Ask xo_minela A Question ]
xomichelle891xo answered Sunday January 21 2007, 10:37 pm: Sorry to say this, but it doesnt matter how much you hate excercising. The only way youre going to lose weight (In a healthy way) is to diet & excercise as well. Excercising doesnt have to be horrible. It doesnt have to just be running and all that. Try dancing. :] It doesnt have to be professional, just put on loud music and dance like your in a music video. Just make sure your moving a lot when you dance, to burn calories. For toning, all you have to do is a few crunches for your abs and a few lunges and squats a day. Dont kill yourself excercising - you dont need to. For your diet, dont make it too complex. Just cut out all the junk food (Im going to start that tomorrow!) and eat healthier. Fruits, vegetables, NATURAL foods & no processed packaged foods.
