blonde and not dumb
okay so im blonde. and people sometimes serouisly think that im dumb - just because im blonde. and it kinda pisses me off at times cuz they treat me like im just stupid. and im not. i get A's and B's on like everything and get pretty upset if i get like a ac or lower. and still even if i tell people that im smart, they just think im stupid. what should i do?

You have to understand people have opinions, people label other people, and have stereotypes. And you can't worry about that. Just keep proving them wrong. But yes, I know how you feel, though. Nobody needs to know anything about you, it's your business.

Laugh at them... make sure you point your finger at them while laughing so they know your laughing at them, this way they feel stupid and its fun.

You have to just deal with it. Once everyone grows up it'll stop, all the stereotyping will stop.
Prove them wrong, act, talk, or dress more mature. Get glasses, for some reason they make you look instantly smart.

wow i swear it seems as if i wrote that myself, haha. theres nothing you can do. its a stupid stereotype that people are going to throw at you forever. trust me i know how frusterating and annoying it gets. all you can do is prove them wrong =]. thats what i do and alot of people that say that to me, im actually smarter than, so yeah. just ignore it. no one likes those girls who try to act all dumb and ditzy like alot of girls try to do these days, so be glad youre not one of them! =]

Just let them talk! Ignore them, that's the best to do, because then they'll get bored of doing it and eventually stop. You can also show them your report card :). That should do the trick!

I always hated being blonde. Blonde jokes really started becoming quite popular when I was in high school. (GRRRR!) I highly doubt there is a blonde joke I haven't heard already.
The best thing you can do is to ignore it. You can change your hair color, but you only be a blonde in disguise.
Go ahead- let them think you are stupid. They are entitled to their opinions, as are you. You know you aren't stupid, as well as those who care about you. That's all that really matters.
The way I look at it is this- if some one has the audacity to judge my knowledge based on the color of my hair, then they aren't to bright themselves. They aren't worth wasting my breath and time on. That's their own too bad.
And you are going to have those in your life that give you a hard time about it just to kid around with you. Those people don't think you are stupid, they are just giving you crap. My husband gives me a rash about it now and then out of jest.
