I COUGH UP BLOOD

when i wake up in the morning i sometimes cough up blood i smoke ciggys and weed but i doubt that would make me do that just in the mornings wouldnt i be like bleeding the whole time i smoke if it was from that am i going to die

Actually I had the same thing happen to my friend two years ago! And sorry to break it to you, but its the weed. She had to go through Rehab to quit Weed. Weed has an ingredient in it that hurts (espspcially girls) digestive systems. It makes you cough and blood comes out. Please stop the weed. Her doctor told hersome horrible consequences to weed. You could be serioiusly hurt. Please Stop!

coughing up blood is sometimes a small side affect to very bad deseases. you know, weed isnt the cleanest thing in the world,and it could be a rare but possible case that you got something from what you've smoked. but if its only in the mornings, then that i cant give you an answer for. i know this is a bad example,but you know that movie mulan rouge? well she started coughing up blood,and it didnt turn out too good. coughing up blood is really bad,espacially if you've ever been sick with it. or if you've had a cough. this happend to my sister,and she went to the doctors. she was fine after words. so basically i didnt answer is clearly. sorry for that :[. anyways good luck,and dont worry too much. i hope i helped <3

To be on the safe side please go and speak to a doctor about this. Until you find out exactly what is going on you will continue to fret about it.

Are you also coughing? Do you have a fever? Has this been going on for months, or just a few weeks/days? Most people who cough up blood have pneumonia (other symptoms are fever + cough), but there are other reasons why it might happen. Do you have allergies with your sinuses full every night? If you do, and the air in your home is dry as it usually is in the winter, you might have some bleeding in your sinuses which you are swallowing along with postnasal "drip".
If none of these are the answer, and you have been coughing up the blood for more than a week or so, please make arrangements to see the doctor so he can rule out more serious reasons for coughing up blood. (The medical term for this is "hemoptysis"). gigi

Get yourself to a doctor, ASAP! It could be something as simple as acid reflux eating away at your throat at night while you're lying down, causing blood in your throat that comes up with caughing. It could be tuberculosis or a tumor. You need to see someone right away. Hopefully, it's nothing.
