America is great. We have really random days where it can be really sunny or days where it can be really rainy. It's huge and you're free to do whatever. Everything is the opposite here than it is over there. There's a lot more space to move around and to drive. Water and stuff is free.
I suggest you should come check it out. [ princesslindsey's advice column | Ask princesslindsey A Question ]

No one likes where they live..honestly. I mean we all want what we DONT have. I want to be you, you want to be me. But, its not possible. Just think of all the great things about living in England. You get to see an amazing part of the world every day. You have easy travel to countries people never get to see in a lifetime (France, Spain, Italy, Germany & so many more.) Its funny you mention that the weathers rainy because I live in America yet I havent seen the sun in FOREVER. Its raining right now! Because its winter. Anyway, America doesnt seem special to me because I live here. Some great things about America are that we have freedom to do whatever it is we want. The "American dream" does really happen to some people. Im not sure how America is portrayed in movies, but thats not very reliable. Im sure England is different in movies, too! I guess what Im trying to say is, we have a LOT of problems in America that arent shown in TV and movies. We have poverty and crime. Were NOT all rich like people think..not even close and the poverty rates are going UP. We are virtually one of the most HATED countries around the world right now and we are also stereotyped as obese which is a real problem. New York City IS pretty amazing..but thats only a small part of the U.S. I would enjoy where you live and when youre old enough, you can try living here. Its a nice place, but then again, so is England. [ xomichelle891xo's advice column | Ask xomichelle891xo A Question ]

America is hard to explain to someone who hasn't been there. You've got plains full of nothing but corn and cows, huge mountain ranges in different parts of the country, giant forests, etc etc. You've also got parts of the country where it's hot/warm all year round, others that are warmish all year round, some which have all four seasons, and some which have all the seasons but HUGE amounts of snow and freezing temps in the winter.
To add to that, you've got cities, towns, and entire areas where you might only have a couple of people living in a huge empty space. You've also got some areas (though shrinking) where no one lives, though these are mostly protected lands.
You have people who had parents, grandparents, or great-grandparents enter the country from virtually every other country on earth, alongside indiginous people who've been there for ages.
