Ok well i know yoga you are still....when doing positions, but palates, you're always moving. and i also know a part of pilates, something that helps shed pounds from your stomach and get rid of those love handles, is to lie on your back and put your hands behind your head and have your elbows pointing outwards (like you're looking at the stars) and then lift up and reach your left elbow to your right knee and your right elbow to your left knee. for the thigh area you can swim (really helps) as into NOT use your arms as much as you would use your legs a lot AND you can sit on a chair and slowly lift your bent leg up to your chest...hope i helped!

I think that pilates would be best for what you are trying to do.. It strengthens AND increases endurance and flexibility! Good luck!

i'm also a soccer player, and i would do palaties. they're better for the core muscles.

yoga is more stress relieving. i took that...and it made me fall asleep lol.

but if i were you, i'd do palaties and then just stretch out on your own because your body will train itself little by little to become more flexible the more yous stretch.

hope i helped!

welll, if you wanna be more flexable, Yoga is the way to go and it is very relaxing. On the other hand, Pilates targets the core muscles (like abs thies and glutes) so if your looking to loose weight us Palates. Sorry if i didnt give you a streight forward answer but I hope I helped you make a desision Good Luck!! :D

i would go with palaties because yoga is more stretching but palaties is actually exercising and moving around.
