For it a start it isnt even normal to begin with.It is becoming a habit for young people.Mainly people 14+.I am totally against it!!And we should all be trying to fight, I have "friends" who dranl to much and ended up uncncious.But I feel everyone is shoving all these facts down our throats and because teens are rebellious they're bound to the complete oppositw and do it.Nowadays there is more teens doing things they shouldnt be doing ie: smoking.A lot of it is from insecurities and peer pressure.But it isnt normal.It's just becoming a habit

who ever said drugs and drinking was normal?the thing is even if it IS normal it will lead you to becoming abnormal,tell you how....when u take drugs...you get addicted to it and it damages your brain and body system and causes you to hallucinate.Do you call THAT normal?i totally dont!Dont do something your not convinced with just cause your freinds are doing it.You need to have your own personality.

Sorry to say if you are a mother or father, but yes, because now at this age they may be let out with a little more slack, and they want to go and do some thing "that they weren't able before". And they may, or they may not it is all up to them, and the family they were brought up in has an impact on their decision.

It's a trend thats been picking up momentum lately, and not in sight of stopping. Unfortunately, yes...
Healthy? No. Discouraged by the media and peers? Absolutely not. Everyone wants to grow up way too fast. When I was younger, paintballing on the weekends was always a blast. Now everyone feels obligated to spend the night in somebody's basement with a ping-pong table. I think it's wrong, but nobody wants to take responsibility for it.

well my friends discovered drugs and alcohol at 13 and 14 too. it's really sad. but they did their experimenting young.

Okay, I'm sXe and personally I don't think that it's normal to do drugs at ANY age.
I have 4 friends that are 14-15 that are doing drugs and drink and smoke and what not.
The drinking/smoking/doing drugs--the age goes down each year--sadly. And I'm sad to say that people around 14 and up engage in drug abuse, drinking, and smoking.
