Additional info, added Monday January 15 2007, 5:38 pm: BESIDES DOGS. Want to answer more questions in the Miscellaneous category? Maybe give some free advice about: Random Weirdos? gstrutin18 answered Friday December 30 2016, 9:50 am: Though this is kind of contradictive, pigs are actually one of the easiest animals to train. They're definitely easier to train than dogs, they naturally go to the bathroom in one area because (surprisingly), they actually like to stay clean. All you have to do is tell them where to go, and they catch on really quickly. Pigs can come in small, medium, and large sizes. They are super flexible and are not high maintenance. Hope this helps! beth396190 answered Tuesday January 16 2007, 1:48 pm: ok, sugar gliders are very exotic animals, but if you get them as a young joey, they can be the best animal you could ever have! the only thing is that you have to be a person with alot of time or be able to take it with you everywhere.
its also hard to find a vet in alot of areas that treats them.
but they are VERY smart, theyre not dangerous if you have them bonded to you and they are about the size of most peoples fist :]
people breed them in different colors, so that changes the price of most of them
a regular black and gray glider is around &175 at most places, but i promise that in the end they are AMAZING pets.
and once you get interested in them, you can breed them and sell them for alot of money :]
if you want any more information about them go to [Link](Mouse over link to see full location). or you can just go on google and look them up :]
isis answered Monday January 15 2007, 6:53 pm: Cats or birds from the parakeet family can be pretty smart, trainable and loyal, but it really depends on how much space, time and money you have. If all these are limited you would need to go for a smaller animal, like rabbits, hamsters, gerbils etc. Rats are probably the closest you'll get to what you need in this size.
However, whilst smaller animals may still be fairly smart and can be trainable they may not give you a high level of loyalty as it's not in their nature.
Any animal can be dangerous to some degree if they are handled badly or generally treated incorrectly. Whatever you decide on, make sure you read up on them first so that you know what they need from you and then you should be fine. [ isis's advice column | Ask isis A Question ]
VeNzUeLa answered Monday January 15 2007, 3:51 pm: This is a definate fact, smarter animals are easier to train. Loyal? Dogs! Labradors are the best, good with the family and very easy to train! Labradors are alot smarter than German Shepherds (Alsations) and great with kids!
I am very sure about this!
theymos answered Monday January 15 2007, 2:27 am: All animals will be loyal if you're with them long enough. Even fish will notice the difference between you and someone else after many years. The less smart the animal, the easier it will be to train. I've heard that parrots and other birds are very smart. [ theymos's advice column | Ask theymos A Question ]
