What is your skin care routine? I was told to remove my makeup with certain cleaners/removers
Then wash my face with hot/warm water
And cleanse it with some cream OR pads.
then wash it off with cold water.
That.. is really not helping me.
What's your routine?

I experiment with my facial cleansers. What I do is clean my face with ingredients such as Benzol Peroxide, Salicylic Acid, and Triclosan. They kill bacteria in the skin, treat and prevent pimples while reducing blemishes.
I mix the stuff up and put it on my face. I scrub for like 5 minutes, wash it off in warm/hot water and repeat but with a little on, and wash it over. I do this twice a day. Usually they tell you not to over-do it but I use moisturizing stuff afterwards. It keeps my face from getting dried, irritated and red after several uses of cleansers.
Also, it's prescription but this works. It's Sulfur facial cream. The sulfur actually treats pimples so effectively you see results within a couple of days! When I used it, it really cleared my face up.
Also, all-day lasting lotion that's allergen-free, doesn't clog pores, and moisturizers, helps your skin clear all day, and reducing the production of oil which causes breakouts, as well.
Hope I helped =] ]
seriously proactive! it really works, i get comments from everyone that my face clears up!guys even look at me more. or if you don't like proactive, noxzema, or good skin products work. typically that is the routine, only make sure you pat your face dry not rub. you may also be over washing it, or try putting on a toner afterwords hope it helps! ]
Well, usually I just wash my face at night with Clean & Clear Oxygenating facial scrub with warm water. Afterwards, I apply Clean & Clear oil free Oxygenating Ultra light moisturizer..and that's pretty much it:) ]
I take off my eye makeup, wash my face with Netrogena pads and washcloth. Then I let my face "air out." Which means I don't cover it with any products, I give it a few hours to absorb some oxygen. Then eventually, I put on Benzaclin, a prescription acne cream I got from my doctor. I used to have problems with acnes, but not so much anymore. You can ask your doctor about acne treatments. Insurance covers some of the cost. But if you can't do that, try [tinted] Clearasil. (about $4) And always make sure you're washing your face daily, with a scentless, gentle soap.
Have you considered that it might not be your routine? It could be the makeup that you're using. I sugguest, instead or using cakey coverups, use Netrogena Tinted Mosturizer (About $4) which actually HELPS your face. Then dust some Netrogena powder over it, and you're good to go!
P.S. A few times a week, put HOT water on a washcloth (as hot as you can stand) and put the washcloth over your face. leave it there for a few minutes. it helps to open and cleanse your pores. ]
I wash my face with a cleansing wipe(these will also take off makeup, I love them right after shows when I've got it caked on), then I usually use an astringent pad, and then put some acne meds on when my skin's all clean. ]
I don't really remove my makeup with remover...I just cleanse my face with a face wash. Then I put a toner. Then a moisturizer. I do that routine morning and night. Once a week I exfoliate my face. And once every two weeks I put a mask on it. I hope I helped and answered your question the way you wanted it to be answered. If you have any more questions just ask! ]
First, I don't wear too much make up. Just eyeliner and mascara on some occasions. Use products that are specialties in the face part. Neutrogena or Clean and Clear are the best. Neutrogena has wipes/washers for make up removing.
Wash your face twice a day. If your skin is getting really peeling and dry, use a pad to scrub that excess skin off. But don't do this too frequenstly or harshly. I use a toner after I wash my face so the moisture is still ther (Neutrogena Toner [Alcohol Free]) with a cotton pad. Oh yea, for water temp, don't use too much cold water. Make it luke warm but not warm or hot. ]
