ok theres this guy that i like hes in my grade and i wanna tell him that i like him but .... hes not like the most attractive guy ya know and no body knows i like him.. and a lot of people think that he likes me and if they fine out i like him then i think ill get made fun of or something... idk and he always guessing who i like .... and i dont know what to do! please help! thanks!!

You know... i was actually in this same situation this year... i liked this guy SO MUCH... but everytime my friends would say stuff about him they would be like "Gross. That kid is so weird!" So i avoided him. Well then he asked me out and of course i said yes... well guess what??? My friends actually started liking him after that! So just follow your heart is my advice.

I've been in this situation before, and I understand how you're feeling. But honestly, you can't always worry about what others think. Especially, in this situation. If they're really your friends they will not make fun of you or be mad. However, if they are not your friends and they do make fun of you...That's their problem and they have to live with making fun of you. It's not your's. If you really like this guy, and he's a good guy, the best advice I can give to you is -- go for it. I'm sure everything will work out just fine, and I wish you the best of good luck!

why care what people think? i think you should go for it. you shouldnt care what people think, as long as your happy and he is too. I'm pretty sure that other girls in the school date "unattractive" guys too, but do you think they care what people think. Half the people you know in high school, you'll never see again but you want to have the most fun you can have and being with someone you really like will be.

Well if you really liked him then you wouldn't care what he looked like or what other people thought about him. Popularity in school isn't everything. Although at your age it can seem like that. Just tell him that you like him. Don't be afraid of what other people say about you two. There's nothing wrong with knowing what you want and going for it, just expect people to talk about you, because they always will talk about someone even if it's not you. If you really truly like him and he likes you back, then just give it a try! I think you'll be pleasantly surprised!

when you don't want people to make fun of you for a boy you like, you do stupid things. you deny it constantly, and it gets back to the boy. or you write something to prove you have no interest in him. They won't find out that you like him unless they ask and you tell them, if you started going out or the like. Don't worry because it's unimportant. If you like him, that's fine; and he probably isn't so unatractive, anyway.
