ok, i'll be blunt, i hate my legs. i don't know why, and i'm not sure when it started, somewhere around grade 4 and i am now in grade 10. i have a little extra above my knees and i am self consious because hair grows thicker on my legs. so here is my main question: can you shave your uper legs? is it better to wax? if so how much is it going to caust me? last but not least: how do i get over being self consiouse about my legs?
runawayxlove answered Friday January 5 2007, 4:11 pm: hey, well there both options. i would go with the shaving. either way the hair is going to grow back, so you might as well do it for free. waxing is way to expensive. [ runawayxlove's advice column | Ask runawayxlove A Question ]
XkittyOkatX answered Friday January 5 2007, 4:03 pm: Yes, you can shave your upper legs. Waxing or shaving is an option for you to make up, but in my opinion, it's fairly easy, maybe even easier than shaving your lower leg area. So yea, your choice. =).
About being self concious, just try to shave more often, so you don't need to worry about that. Honestly, people shouldn't be noticing your legs much, it's mostly in your head that they are that worried about it. Lotion can sometimes help make the hairs look finer, so that may help. If worse comes to worse, maybe just wear long jeans more often?
pinkfox answered Friday January 5 2007, 2:54 pm: You can shave up there, and wax...waxing hurts a lot! But it coasts about 20-40$ depeanding on where you go and how good of a job they do. But you can go to like any nail salloon. Anyways about being self concious I don't know exactly how to fix it but try focusing on what you love about yourself and were clothing that makes you feel good about your legs.
Good Look!
You don't weigh a lot so don't be worried about tht!
Hope I helped! [ pinkfox's advice column | Ask pinkfox A Question ]
