ASHLEYLOVEEE answered Monday February 5 2007, 9:41 pm: national weed day has been around for a while, so no weed isnt going to be legalized. and its not an official holiday.
MummuM answered Tuesday January 2 2007, 2:23 pm: "National Weed Day" has been around for years, it didn't just start up as of right now. I don't think they'll be legalizing it anytime soon. They're not going to legalize it because it brings up an entirely different issue altogether. In Canada it's decriminalized. I can walk around with a half ounce on me and if I get caught I lose it; no fine, no record, no nothing. In Canada you're allowed to have one plant in plain view for personal use ONLY. You're not allowed to distribute it and you're not allowed to clip it. [ MummuM's advice column | Ask MummuM A Question ]
TheDayTripper answered Monday January 1 2007, 3:11 pm: It's been "National Weed Day" for quite a few years now,and it's not even an officially recognized day (as in,the government doesn't consider it a holiday or anything).
MissBonne answered Monday January 1 2007, 9:46 am: First, April 20th is a Friday - if anything they would make changes like this on the beginning of the week. No, the states are set against using legal pot for personal reasons. You would have heard about it on the news already.
ChocolateCots answered Monday January 1 2007, 7:36 am: Pot is only legal to act as an extreme pain-killer and anti-depressant for cancer patients and other seriously ill. The po-po, the fuzz, the heavy, and the man don't want you smokin shit so no they are not gonna legalize it, not even on the national holiday. That day is also Hitler's Birthday, and the Anniversary of Columbine. So, in case you don't want to read that guy's really long answer and my kinda long answer: NO and NO.
Hope I helped! [ ChocolateCots's advice column | Ask ChocolateCots A Question ]
russianspy1234 answered Monday January 1 2007, 5:33 am: the term 420 originated at San Rafael High School, in 1971, among a group of about a dozen pot-smoking wiseacres who called themselves the Waldos, who are now pushing 50. The term was shorthand for the time of day the group would meet, at the campus statue of Louis Pasteur, to smoke pot. Intent on developing their own discreet language, they made 420 code for a time to get high, and its use spread among members of an entire generation.
So there ya go, someone's parents out there invented the term 4/20.
And remember this:
There are NOT 420 chemicals in Weed. It's about 315, the num. goes up or down depending on what you're smoking.
4/20 is NOT police code or Maryjane.
And that whole shit about Holland and 4/20 over there being "tea time" for smokers isn't true either. [ russianspy1234's advice column | Ask russianspy1234 A Question ]
