Question Posted Thursday December 28 2006, 2:45 pm
13/F. There is this boy that is in 2 of my classes. I bearlly noticed him like 2 weeks ago, and he is really cute. I know or I think I know that he likes me, but he hangs out with this girl all the time and I know she likes him, in my opinion shes isn't really all that cute. I want to tell him I like him, cause I if I did then he might ask me out. But before I do are these kinda signs that he like me?: he always comes and tells me i smell good, he always wants me to sit on his lap, he passes me notes during class, and always hugs me and holds hands with me in the hallway. Another thing is that the girl he hangs out with is kind of my friend but lately has been calling me and boyfriend stealer, when they aren't even together. So what do you think? Should I tell him or not?
divapup6 answered Friday December 29 2006, 5:06 pm: ok well heres what i think
you cant help who you like and niether can your friend
if you truly like him, then yes i think that you should tell him that you like him
i think that those are signs that he likes you
if she likes him to, then talk to her
ask her if she truly likes him as much as you think
and if they areent together, than she shouldnt say bf stealer
just talk to both of them
one at a time
i sure do hope this helps [ divapup6's advice column | Ask divapup6 A Question ]
krazyismefosho answered Thursday December 28 2006, 6:32 pm: About the guy that you like:
1. He could just be a total flirt and like the attention (like one of my friends)
2. He could be numero 1 but like you (like what the first friend developed into)
3. He could like you and be totally hitting on you (What the same friend developed into)
If those are the signs.. you are either bestest friends or he really likes you.
He might not think you like him at all. My bf now (actually the same friend from above lmao) didn't think to ask me out until he found out that I liked him (my friend told him... ugh) and then he asked me out!
So just flirt back or maybe get one of your friends to tell him (or maybe they'll do it w/o u knowing lol).
iloveaar answered Thursday December 28 2006, 5:10 pm: tell him that you don't need to know cause if he doesn't like you then it must be unconfortable to hug you all the time sit you on his lap etc..also make him knows that you like him with indirect things that might be so obvious and ask him whats going on with this girl are they dating or somethig?? ask him but really carefully cause some guys get scared when they know you have a crush on them xD
hope it helped
the_sweeter_heart answered Thursday December 28 2006, 4:22 pm: Awwwwwww, it totally looks like you two would look cute together!
Forget the girl. She's just jealous. They aren't together, so what boyfriend are you exactly stealing, anyway?? Just leave her alone. Ignore her.
I really think this guy likes you. Don't ask him out directly. Hint it. Go, "Umm... if you could go out with any girl in this school, who would it be?"
I think the relationship will go out really well!!
runawayxlove answered Thursday December 28 2006, 4:08 pm: hey, yes you need to tell him how you feel. the things that you stated in your paragraph like the whole holding hands thing are definite signs that he likes you. as for your friend calling you a "boyfriend stealer", tell her they dont even go out. so how could you possibly be a boyfriend stealer? also tell her that if he liked you, wouldnt he have already asked you out? good luck =].
