Date Ideas

Question Posted Saturday December 23 2006, 11:17 pm

I need some good date ideas that aren't totally expensive. I was thinking bowling and dinner, anything under 70 bucks a date - cause thats as much as I can afford right now..... I know, I'm cheap - but I'm getting a job soon, so that wont be too much of an issue soon enough.

Do something totally romantic and sweet. Dates shouldn't have to leave a hole in your wallet. A nice picnic or walk in a park or something. Yeah cheesey i know, but it's sentimental value that counts. Good luck, God Bless, and Merry Christmas~aeromonkey.

*Just enjoy spending time w/ your loved one.

take her somewhere cute. Its a bit cold right now, but if wherever you are it happens to be warm, you might take her out for a picnic in a park or at the beach or whatever is near you. Maybe at night to look at the stars, then, if she gets cold, you're there. Also, other small dates are going out for a walk or just taking her somewhere special. You dont' have to do something big to make her happy and if you do, then she's shallow and probably not worth your time. Just do something that you like and something that you think will mean something to her. Romance is definitely key, so go out dancing or have a nice dinner somewhere, outside, so you get the food yourself and everything. Even just rent a movie and watch it at home. Whatever you two can do together and have fun.
Hope I helped!

First things first: not all dates have to be luxurious with a lot of money spent. It just needs to be kept interesting and fun.

If you and this date have a pass to an amusement park, go there! It's awesome. Movies are a little boring but you should suggest you guys watch a scary movie (hint hint ;D seriously)

Go to the ice skating rink since it's cold now.
Go to a park and have a nice picnic--with homemade food if you can.

how about the classics..dinner and a movie. let her/him choose the movie.. or a movie night in, if it's not the first date.. if you live near a beach, maybe dinner and a walk on the beach at sunset or by moonlight. just something nice. it doesn't have to cost money for your date to love it. hope you have fun:) take care

ice skating doesnt cost too much, and its normally really fun, even if you dont know how, as long as youre willing to try
swimming is a good idea, but its obviously way too cold
movies are always fun, plus they never have akward monents, unless its really sexual...
going to the zoo is ok, sence its free... even if it sounds kindof childish its actually really fun
the mall is kool because EVERYONE can always find something at the mall
well hope i helped
luv emi:)

Okay here are some ideas.

Just dinner (you dont always have to do something with dinner) Personally I think the whole dinner and a _____ movie, bowling, etc. is cliche. Oh and speaking of bowling..unless the person really likes it, its kind of boring.

Invite them over to your house. Hey, thats a free date! And its really romantic. Cook the person dinner..and light candles. Create your own little restaurant.

Movie. The movies are always a cheap, but good date. Its a little safe and overdone, but its a good place to go on a date before you get a job.

Whatever it is, its about being with the person, not as much what youre doing. Have fun. ♥

Some good ones are:
-Movies
-Romantic dinner (out of the house or in)
-going to the mall to hang
-out for ice cream

Those are some things that girls enjoy that are very affordable
