Well, it is the holiday season. Is your Mom entertaining?? If so, this can be extremely stressful. First of all, theres cooking and cleaning. Then having to send out all the christmas cards and decorate the house. Not to mention presents for you and the rest of your family! Perhaps its work or she has had a bad couple of days. Let her relax and try to help out around the house! Let her know youre there to help her and eventually, after all the holiday chaos has settled down, she will too.

sounds like a stressed out mom to me. it's the holiday season... it's normal. if it lasts more than 2 months, then worry about her. <3

It's the holiday time. My mom is really stressed right now, trying to get everything cleaned and perfect for everyone who is going to be visiting over break. That's probably your mom's issue right now. You can help by asking if there's anything you can do, or even just trying to be as good as you can. If it doesn't go away after the holidays, talk to your dad because it might be something worse, and she may need help. Hope I helped =]

She is probably just really stressed right now.

It could be because of work, the holidays, or family issues with maybe a sister, mom, or brother. It could be anything.

She probably doesn't want to talk to you about whatever is bugging her maybe because it might affect you, or she might just feel you don't need to know.

I would just give her some room and time and it might blow over. If it doesn't after awhile then talk to your Dad about it, but for now I wouldn't worry too much.
