To change your age, go to the "edit profile" section (where you go to change your about me and other sections), then click "basic info" and change your birthday. missadvicebitch1 answered Saturday December 23 2006, 11:31 am: hey, well im pretty sure it has to do with the age that you set your myspace at. if its 18 or younger then for the people that are trying to add you THAT DO HAVE A PRIVATE MYSPACE will have to put in your last name or email adress. that people that DO NOT HAVE A PRIVATE MYSPACE will not have to type in anything.

Then, on privacy settings, click change settings. then, unclick the box that says "Friend Requests - Require email or last name" so that the check is gone. Then click change settings, and it's done =] [ snickerzz11's advice column | Ask snickerzz11 A Question ]
