Question Posted Saturday December 9 2006, 10:20 pm
ok so i jsut redid my room last year. and its all right. it would be alot prettier if i had a different bed. but i jsut bought my bed like a year or two ago i dont know how long ago it was. but i would feel bad if i sk to redo it. so if i did redo it i would pay for it. but where could i get the money? i would need about like 500 to 1000 dollars. what kind of fun and easy jobs could i get at 14 years old that wouldnt be my whole life?

At your age though, I just got with my friends and did things like clean peoples houses (hey, find a big enough house and get 50 bucks easy) or yard-work. This works best with elderly people who can't do much, they need the work and you need the money.

A lot of people, especially older people, are ususally willing to pay people to do things like that if they can't, or if they just don't feel like it. You could also have a yard sale and take anything you don't want and sell it. You can also ask your parents if they have anything they would let you sell. It might take a little while, but you will get your bed eventually. And if you tell your parents why you want to make the money, I am sure they would help you find ways to get the money. Good luck. It depends on how long I work for; I can get anywhere from $20-$50 at a time. If you save this up, it piles up before you know it! Also, you can try having a tag sale. This can get you a whole $200. And, if you celebrate, Christmas is coming, that's a good thing-ask for money.
