Question Posted Wednesday November 22 2006, 2:56 pm
i wear my hair the same way everyday - down and straightened. it's getting boring & i'd like to wear my hair differently. i like it scrunched but i'm always too tired in the morning to scrunch it. is there anyway i can shower at night and scrunch it before i go to bed without it getting frizzy and all messed up? thanks a bunch!
After taking a shower at night apply Smoothing Milk or a Frizz Serum of your choice to soaked hair. Towel dry then apply CURLING mousse to damp hair. Braid your hair into several braids then tie them back into one ponytail so its more comfortable to sleep in. When you get up in the morning apply a tad bit more mousse to freshen up the look then spritz on some hairspray to preserve the look.

So, the night before I shower and put gel, hairspray, and mousse. Then i just get my hair up into a messy bun high on the top of my head. I always put a silky scarf around the bun, it makes your hair frizz free when you wake up! When you wake up, just untie the scarf and your hair will look really good and scrunched. Hope I helped!

Here's the step's I take and my hair comes out looking b-e-a-u-tiful :)
1) Take A Shower
2) Dry your hair a bit with the towel
3) Put in LOADS of mousse
4) Blow Dry it a bit (if you have a cold setting then use that)
5) More Mousse
6) Braid it
7) More Mousse
8) A Bit more blowdrying
9) At this point you can add more mousse if you like but it will already be drenched so it's completely up to you.
10) Then when you wake up in the morning take it out and touch it up with a bit of mousse.
I advise that you don't put any Frizz Ease in. Because I have used it and I've found that it makes my hair greasy.

or if you put your hair in a bunch of tiny little braids (while your hair is still wet) and sleep like that when you wake up in the morning, just take out your braids and your hair will look really scrunched. [ dramaditz's advice column | Ask dramaditz A Question ]

xo_tragicglamour answered Wednesday November 22 2006, 3:53 pm: Ahhh!! I scrunch my hair each night! So I know what I'm talking about when I say. Take a shower using your normal shampoo and conditioner. Once you get out, apply Frizz-Ease hair serum original formula...it's by John Frieda and costs about five to ten dollars but it's worth it. Scrunch it in a lot or a little depending on your hairtype. You can go to bed anytime, and where you wake up it will be even curlier than it was the night before, it stays in all day, and there is absolutly no frizz or messiness.
