The only real way he could go to jail for that though is if you or your parents were to press charges against him, or anybody else that may know.
So once he turns 18, I would just be discreet, because if someone figures you're having sex in the relationship, you two ( especially your boyfriend ) could get into loads of trouble.
DepthofHeart answered Sunday November 19 2006, 9:28 pm: When you were dating before your boyfriend was 18 it was legal. However whatever the circumstances it's illegal now, because your still a minor. But I don't think your boyfriend would go to jail unless someone found out you were sleeping together. queenhearts answered Sunday November 19 2006, 2:23 pm: No dating is fine. Just if there's sex in the relationship, it's illegal. He would only go to jail if you press charges against him or if your parents do.. But if your parents know of your relationship with him then there's really no problems.
I just wouldn't go out announcing your ages or people will get suscipious and think sex is in it. That could lead to trouble. [ queenhearts's advice column | Ask queenhearts A Question ]
VainTaraLynn answered Sunday November 19 2006, 1:41 pm: Nope. Dating isnt illegal. Statitory rape is illegal. if your parents know that you are dating than you two wont have any problems. If you guys had sex, technically it would be illegal, but that would only be in effect if you pressed charges against him, or if your parents did. So make sure that they're aware that you two are dating, so theres no discrepencies. [ VainTaraLynn's advice column | Ask VainTaraLynn A Question ]
