ok this question might seem a bit weird. when i do my hair in the morning, i usually straighten it & wear it down. basically, by like 11 i have to put it up. it annoys me so much. i just can't write and have it down because my hair is thick and i have a lot of it. i put it up in one of those cute little messy buns but i dont know. for some reason i think its prettier to wear it down & if i wear it up i feel boyish. im basically just wondering what your opinion is. should girls just wear their hair down all the time?? or is it pretty to wear it up too??

wearing it just up or just down gets boring. Change it up so you have a bit of a different look everyday. maybe even half up half down or just your bangs pinned back. Wearing your hair down is probably the most classy and it is cute but do what looks best on you not what other girls do. If you wear it the same everyday people expect to see the same thing..suprise them and youll feel more..fashionable i guess haha..if you have more than one style.

I have a similar problem as you. My hair is so thick that its a pain to wear it down all the time. I try to wear it down because i feel i look better. Yes, sometimes wearing your hair down does make you look more feminine but its okay to wear your hair up once and a while. Try to wear your hair down (all day) for like two or more times a week and wear your hair up the other days.

i think you should tie youer hair in a high ponytail or something. i do that because same with you, if i wear it down, it gets annoying after a while. everyone wears there hair down all the timeand i jsut think tis boring. no change. putting your hair up can look cute :] a bun is cute too with a big headband. i wear my hair down sometimes but for me, i cant stand it. lol Both is pretty. But i think wearing it up is cute

i think if you wear it down a lot than it gets boring. You can do other hair styles like:
-half up half down
-a side ponytail
-a lowered ponytail
- a regular pony tail
there are other ways instead of a messy bun to keep your hair out of your way. I know how you feel hair is agrating. But i think its not boyish when you wear your hair done , it brings out ones face and there beauty.

I think women who wear their hair up are stunning. It really brings attention to the eyes and bone structure. I don't think there is anything boyish about it at all - it's very feminine.

No I don't think girls should wear their hair down allll the time. Some people ..it doesn't really flatter them.
If your hair bothers you. Maybe clip back some parts in the front and put it in a big clip behind. I'm not sure how to explain it.. It might get out of your way?
The messy buns look really cute! It's pretty to wear it up, if it isn't an ordinary ponytail, you know? Unless you have some ribbons in your hair maybe.

However, if by pretty you mean stylish;
this is another story.
Stylish girls vary their look.
Somedays up, somedays down.
Somedays straight, somedays curly.
Try mixing it up a bit.
It's absolutley your choice which way you wear your hair, others shouldn't worry about it very much unless they are voted the Hair Patrol.
