want to be over him

Question Posted Wednesday November 15 2006, 2:42 pm

What is the best possible way to get over someone? I got dumped MONTHS ago by my first boyfriend and I'm still not over it. He's somehow always on my mind and being pathetic, I still cry over him. My friends and family are even sick of hearing about it. Does anyone have good ways that you got over someone that hurt you badly? I just want him out of my mind & heart!

Im 28 and married and I still remeber my 1st break up. The best thing to do is Keep busy..... Make plans as much as possible. Whenever you feel like calling him or think about him call a friend or work out nothing makes you feel better than feeling like you look better.
And most of all stay away from the radio. And get back out there I hate to say this but if anyone asks you out go even if your not interested, it will be a good ego boost for ya.

well it will be difficult, but u should find somebody else to crush over. You probabley wont forget him ever, but concentrate on other things.

hi.
so you kan like;
when you HAVE to talk about him; spell his name out instead of saying it. that way yer thinking about him as an object; not a person.

and basically; find some one you could like and maybe be with.. that way you wont think about yer old boyfriend and as soon as you get over the old boyfriend; maybe you could move onw ith everything in yer life?

Well since he was your first boyfriend it will be even harder. A part of you will always still like him becuase he was your first, and part of him will always be with you. In order to get over my first bf i tried hanging out wtih my friends alot more (and don't talk about your ex bf when you are with them) and doing things that kept my mind off my ex bf and soon after a while you will barely be thinking about him.Also remind yourself that you are better without him and that you deserve better. But just a reminder it always takes longer to get over you first bf than any other in your life.

OK, this can be very hard to deal with, and you shouldnt rush it. It can take a day, a week, a month, or even a few months, but you will finally face the fact, that you guys are over. And that if he dumped you, he is an indiiot, and should be lucky to be with you. And trust me when you get over him, you will finally notice the amount of guys who would love to be with you, and you will find that special person...eventually. So dont fret, because hez not worth it. YOu will get over him soon enough! :)
