What is the best possible way to get over someone? I got dumped MONTHS ago by my first boyfriend and I'm still not over it. He's somehow always on my mind and being pathetic, I still cry over him. My friends and family are even sick of hearing about it. Does anyone have good ways that you got over someone that hurt you badly? I just want him out of my mind & heart! (link)

well it will be difficult, but u should find somebody else to crush over. You probabley wont forget him ever, but concentrate on other things.

KINDA LONG BUT PLEASE BARE WITH ME!!! Okay, I've been with my bf Josh now for 11 months. Around the 9th month, we've been fighting quite more often... and sometimes he just takes it overboard, he dosent hit me or anything, but he practially cusses me out and call me a stupid b***h, and stuff like that, I mean I love him very very much, but I tell him he can't just talk to me like I'm some kind of puppy.... so I just got this new job and the person who trained me is named johnny. Something about him just attracts me too him... he's patient with me, he never once did ridicule me about making mistakes (cause I am sooo clumsy!), he knows how to make me smile, we share alot of interests... we just click very well. Like one night we had to close the store together and he was on the phone so while he was on the phone, I took off his drive-thru headset and put the till infront of him.... later he walked up to me and was like thank you for that, no ones really done anything like that for me (I know it was little but it was a big thing for him I guess) and I was like your welcome.... and then one morning we had to work together and he wanted breakfest and didn't have a car, so I loaned him my car and he ended up bringing both of us breakfest and I thought that was sweet. He mocks (jokingly) everything I say and teases me playfully, and I like that...but I don't know who to choose.....PLEASE HELP!!! (link)

i think it all depends on how into ur relationship you are with you boyfrend. But if my boyfrend eveer yelled at me like that, i would send him flying home. If this guy is really into and nice and kind,then i would choose him! Hope my advice could help

I was on hear a couple months ago.. but for those of you who didnt read it:
Last year this boy jake, popular, smart, nice, everything you would want in a guy, and me started talking a lot and we became good friends during school. i'm not hugely popular, like i have a ton of friends, and i am friends with a bunch of people who are considered 'popular' but i wouldnt be considered that. weelll iin january of my freshman year( last year) he asked me to daance at the semi, which i was really surprised by, because i kind of liked him but i would never guess he would ask me to dance.. well when he found out i liked him the rest of the year we didnt really talk much, and it bummed me out. This summer i started going out with this kid mike, who was kind of an asshole and we broke up a couple weeks ago, but since the year started jake has been talking to me a lot again. Like for example, hes in my spanish class, and he purposly switch seats with his friend so he could be next to me, and hes always talking to me and writing me notes and things.. like yesterday he hung up a sign that said 'marry me ashlee' and like i really like jake, ive liked him for a while, i just dont want to get myself hurt again, his birthday is tomorow, should i do anything? and besides the birthday, do you have any advice for me on what hes doing, if he likes me or not...?

for the birthday part, i think u should just buy/make him a card, nothing special cuz hes not your man"yet"! Umm, i think you should wait a little longer to find out if he likes he!! Dont Rush!!

I AM SORRY THAT IT IS SOOOOO LONG!!!
ok....I am a 13/m. I have some really confusing girl issues...Now see I am happy that about 12girls (no joke) like me but now I have known one for quite a while.....She likes me and broke up w/ her boyfriend about 1.5months ago to go out w/ me but neva got the courage to....I also received word from my sister that she liked me...in disquise I like her to....I am a person who lays low.....I don't let out my life..I really like her and she likes me according to my mom and my sister. See everyday that I see her me and her make eye contact and we give each other high fives....I am not sure though what to do...I know she also likes me because one of her best friends keeps telling me that me and her should go out..now yea I would love to try that but I don't know how to tell her that I like her to. See my sister has convinced her that I don't like her but I do.Very Very Much.I am not sure what to do here though..I am in a predictament that I can't help I am to shy to write notes and to scared to go up to her face and tell her.So what to do.Me and her used to sit around on the bus close to each other but since one of my friends got moved to the front of the bus she has been sitting in the back while I am in the front. I have not known that she liked me though bus since about 2weeks ago..I have written her notes to see if she liked me but she ignored me. she has told my sister that she likes me but won't admit it to me. Once last week I was sitting up front and I told her I was bored so she said to move back there.when I did we chatted and laughed till I got off. I know that she likes me now just don't know how to tell her that I like her A LOT!!!! Me and her get along soo well when we are together and also here is the big impact..We both LOVE soccer. I haven't told anyone this but sometimes when she gets hurt I just wanna put my arm around her and give her a hug but I can't because I am way to shy and also she doesn't even know that I like her to. I am soooo confused....Because I have her that I really like and then another girl I just like..but I have a bunch of people that like me and that is a first for me..I am so very confused..Help ME out...I am sorry this is so long. I did something a couple of months ago that at the time I thought I did the right thing but now I'm regretting it. Well basically what happened is the man I was in love with who I thought loved me back dumped me very cruelly. I told him that I wouldn't have an affair; or get invovled sexually with him as long as he was married. Instead of respecting my decision he told me he wanted nothing to do with me. The reason I thought he did want to be with me is because he kept asking me if I wanted children and that I'd be a great mom and he had never had kids. I also knew he was really unhappy with his wife. I thought he loved me and he obviously was leading me on and just telling me what I wanted to hear so eventually I would sleep with him. I guess I just need someone to tell me that I did the right thing because I've been feeling so down about this. (link)

OK this is the hardest thing i have ever been through.. :( and i have never felt this way about someone before..we have been through so much and shared so many good memories..well the story goes like this...
A girl comes out of nowhere and starts flirting with my bf of 9 months on myspace. They wind up hanging out at a football game with friends and he tells me he has some feelings for her. This was heartbreaking. However..i wanted to work it out with him so when he suggested 'open relationship' as in he dates her(not go out) and maybe kisses/hugs her and i agreed to this and to still be with him. I decided it wasnt fair to me..because we had 9 months..i dont desserve this and it hurts..so i break up with him..He says he loves me and sees a future with me as in marriage..that it wont get serious with the new girl but how am i supposed to know? (i mean he might go out with her he says..what do i do then?)They are hanging out more..they call each other..shes driving me nuts with her shoutouts to him and comments..and hes putting her shoutout in his info..its just too much and it breaks my heart. I dont know what to do..isolate myself from him..like not talk to him or hang out or anything so he makes a choice? (like if hes away from me maybe he will miss me..or maybe he will decide he wants her) Or do i be his friend? do i kiss him still and cuddle? i really want to..but this is very hard for me. Hes a sweetheart though. he told me everything..he was honest about her..and we made an agreement that he tells me everything and he has. they were talking together by the lake..they might go to the movies tomorro..i flip flop back and forth though..be his friend and hang out/talk/cuddle/kiss him...but sometimes i feel so sad and hurt i feel like i should back away completely. what do i do? is this worth the wait? I know you love him and it hurts but if he loved you he wouldn;t be seeing a nother girl. I know he thinks its only a friendship and nothing to worry about, but your his girlfriend and no other girl should be kissing him and that final. Don;t agree to that crap about only hugs and kisses, hes ur man and nobody elses.

My friend lou's haloween party was a blast and i made out with this boy i never though i would get the chance to talk to and that i thought was cute during spin the bottle. everyone of course at school found out and for the past 2 days my friend jasmina and mensur make fun of me about it in art where him and his other friend are! its REALLY funny but embarassing. they asked him questions like did you like it? was she good? would you go out with her? do you like her! and he answeres yes/yeah!/mhhmm to all of them! we even exchanged Numbers and he has my s/n (i THINK)but i barely talk to him and i dont really kno him but hes SOO cute but he doesn't do ANYTHING about it. WHAT IS HIS PROBLEM why doesnt he put in the effort to talk to me some more! should i talk to him on AIM? HELP should i go for it myself and if so waht do i do? or ditch this kid who won't make a move?

Maybe he feels kind of emberassed also?? Who made up the rule that guys have to be the ones to step foward and make the first move. Girls can be the ones to make the first move. Go for it, he most likely likes you!!

So I've been going out with this guy for a little over than a month. We're almost sixteen, and i really like him. To give you some background info about him, hes so shy, it took a month for him to just hold my hand or give me a hug. (ya i know. and no, hes not gay haha) Anyway, Im having this birthday party in a couple of weeks, and when i asked him if he was busy on a certain date, he was like "ya, im going to my grandmothers" so then i was like alright, ill just change it around, to friday. then he was like "well its ok, its not that important if i dont go" and altho im not sure how to interpret that, it hurt my feelings. i assume he meant that he didnt want me to change the whole party just for him, but i dont know. i mean i really want him to be there, doesnt he feel the same? also, he doesnt really call me, but we do hang out sometimes. And one other thing, he has never dumped a girl. He once stayed with a girl for like 6 months, but didnt like her the last 3 months, because he didnt kno how to dump her/is scared of "a girl starting to cry". whatever that is.
So basically, do u think he still likes me? And what should i do? Im really worried he wouldnt dump me if he stopped liking me. And I dont want to dump him, cause I still like him. Ugh, tell me what this silly boy is thinking! (link)

I think you should talk to him, tell him how you feel. You shouldn't have to be guessing everything in a relationship. Anyways, If you really like him, talk to him!

i have no clue why these types of questions are so common, but here it goes:
there`s this kid at my school who is like...16 (i`m 14) and i really like him. he`s got black, "emo" hair, a lip ring, and is just so damn hot. i hear a lot of my friends say that he`s an ass, but why guy isn`t? all my friends say that they could see me with him, and that he`s probably better than my current boyfriend (i doubt it). My bf and i are "taking a break", and i recently found out that he slept with another girl. Now when he said we needed a break (due to my mother), i thought you know, not seeing each other and taking time for ourselves. i did`t think he meant we could hook up with other people. I had plenty of chances to, but i didn`t. I just made-out with some boy down the street. I really like the guy that`s in my class (on certain days) but i`m afraid to talk to him and that i`ll get rejected. i`ve really never been rejected by a guy, because i`ve never asked one out or anything. Ok...maybe once or twice...but i didn`t mind being rejected then. Now i do. The thing is, he`s the same zodiac sign as my boyfriend (which is good) and we have somewhat of the same interests (i won`t say what they are ;]). I`m just dealthy afraid that if we do hook up, he`d talk smack about me later. what to do, what to do? what do you guys think? (link)

If you really cant find the courage to ask him out write a note, ask a friend to ask for you. Anything that wont make you feel humiliated in front of him. Regection is ok, but no one wants it, so do the above and everything will be fine. Don't worry!
