My 6 year old daughter recently started saying she wants to meet her real dad (he hasn't seen her since she was two years old except for a brief chance meeting at a friends house a two years ago.) I'm not sure what brought this on, except that I just had another baby with a different man, and he and I share custody, so maybe she's feeling a little jealous that her baby brother's dad is around but hers isn't. I'm no longer involved with my son's father, but we are civil for our child's sake so it isn't like he could be a father to her. But I need to know- do I call my daughter's father and make him have a relationship with his daughter? I don't know what to do, or what to say to her. (link)

Before you do anything I would do some investigating 1st. You haven't see him in years before you call I would make sure that he's on the up and up meaning he isnt into anything like drugs ect...If what you hear is good I'd call him. But I think you need to see him and talk to him for a while before you let them meet again. The last thing you want is to have the reunion and have him bail a month or two down the road that will only confuse her even more. It's normal for her to be curious but you have to try so when she is grown you can tell her I tried and when she is old enough and knocks on his door he can't say your mother never contacted me...

If you want to make sure that she is satified you can always start or finish by going down on her meaning oral sex. the answer to A is very simple go down on her 1st.
Question B In most cases a woman gets pregnant between the 1st day after her period and the 14th day. It is highly unlikely that you got her pregnant while she had her period. My Ob told me it's riskier after the cycle than before. most women ovulate between the 1st day and 14th day after their period. I know you are old enough to know but having sexy w/out a condom while she has her period is very risky and not just getting her pregnant.Good Luck with A LOL

So i want to be on some sort of birth control because i don't like condoms much but i smoke and don't really feel like quitting that anytime soon. So that kind of stops me from taking the pill/patch right? but what other birh control things can i use? i know of the shot and the ring and the diaphram (sp) but the other thing is im pretty forgetful, and when me and my boyfriend are together things just tend to lead to another pretty quickly. anybody have any other ideas? There are a few things you can try they now have a non hormonal IUD it is placed in you by your Dr and you dont have to remeber anything. That is what I use, I also smoke. and they have also come out with low hormonal pills I would talk to your Dr and they will give u a long list of options. But my suggestion is an IUD you cant even tell it's in but u have to have it checked twice a year.

The 1st date me and my husband had, he took me to Blue Man Group, I had never been and it was totally different from like you said the same old 1st date dinner and a movie. Look into shows like that or dinner theaters/comedy show stuff. But make sure you do something that you can also talk too like dinner 1st or drinks

I hate the fact that the only place I have for comfort is the net, lol! I am afraid to tell anyone else! I am a 21 year old gay guy and my bf is 18, we have been dating for 8 monthes now and have had a mass of high and lows.
He has the worst temper and shouts at me for the silliest things, and threatens me with breaking up, killing himself,not loving me, hating me when we argue.
Last nite we got into an argument, things got heated, and he pushed me, so I decided to walk away to let him calm down, then he came runing up behind me and stuck his fingers into my arms, it was the most hurtful thing! I tried tyo walk away and he wouldnt let me, so I end up beatinghim upo basically, in self defence, I wasnt gonna be shouted at and physically hurt for no reason! Again I tried to walk away and he grabbedme, wouldnt let me go, my arm wasin agony, and he was screaming at me in the middle of town, so I turned round punched him a few times, and kicked him when he was on the ground. He was scaring me, I am not a violent person, but he was hurting me and wouldnt let me go.
Then he screamed "I AM GONNA KILL MYSELF!!!!"
After I cooled down, regardless of what he did to me, I went back to him, he spat in myface and started beating me up, to which I didnt do anything back, then started screaming he was sorry for hurting me before!
What am I meant to do? Was I wrong in defending myself? How canlove be like this? Idont wanna leave him, but how can things get sorted? (link)

Leave him... Don't feel guilt for defending yourself. There is no excuse that he can give that justifies him putting his hands on you. It is easy for me to say leave him and it will be hard but you also have to think is it going to get worse. If you love him and want to make this work insist that he get counseling, and offer to go with him as support. If you are too nervous to suggest that than it is time to leave. No one should walk on egg shells in fear especialy for someone that is suppose to love you and protect you.

Im 28 and married and I still remeber my 1st break up. The best thing to do is Keep busy..... Make plans as much as possible. Whenever you feel like calling him or think about him call a friend or work out nothing makes you feel better than feeling like you look better.
And most of all stay away from the radio. And get back out there I hate to say this but if anyone asks you out go even if your not interested, it will be a good ego boost for ya.

I guess I'll start with some background information first. I'm 21, married, have two kids, working two jobs, and in college full time. I've been away from home and on my own for two years. My sister (I'll call Ann) is 25. She still lives with my parents. She doesn't go to college, and pays no bills.
So, why does my mom now so blatantly prefer Ann over me? I can have plans with my mom for weeks, but if Ann decideds wants mom for something, my plans will be canceled...even if I've put money into tickets or reservations.
I ignored it til today. I really need a new pair of shoes. The ones I'm wearing now are held together with tape, and my feet show through. I've been looking for new shoes for days, but I have funy-shaped feet and I can't find any. My mom promised me (now that I finally have extra money) that she would help me find shoes today. But, oops!, Ann wants ANOTHER purse and NEEDS my mom's opinion. I won't have time off again to find shoes until two weeks from now. Ann is free every morning (and knows I'm not).

By the sound of it you are pretty selfsuffient. You work hard and take care of your business on your own. I dont think that your mother prefers your sister over you I think your mother just thinks your sister is more needy especialy considering shes 25 and doesnt wrk and lives at home. I would confront your mother about canceling plans with you comstantly.
Explain to her that your free time is far and few between. You may fight and be prepared for that but she's your mom and it will pass. But the longer you let it build up the more resentment your going to have, not just for your mom but for your sister.. Trust me I've been there

I have a brother who is in college. He is 3 years older than me. We used to be really close, but now he has a girlfriend and I barely get to see him anymore. We used to talk like all night but now all he wants to do is hang out with her. On my birthday we went on vacation and he didnt say happy birthday or anything but the first thing he did was buy his girlfriend a present. Now whenever I see them I just start acting really mean and stuff. I dont mean to, but I just get mad because I used to be able to talk to him so easily. When the three of you are together ask to talk to her for a second. when you get her alone explain to her that your really not the person that you have been pretending to be meaning rude ect. Tell her that you have no time with your brother anymore and ask her if you can tag along every once in a while. 10 to 1 she'll tell your bro and tell him how you feel and nothing is more attractive to a girl than a man being nice to his fam. The reason why they dont hang out with you could be because she thinks your her b-friends bratty little sister. I've been there only it was the other way around. I stopped hangin w/ my sister for the same reason. I didnt know she was jealous I thought she was just being a brat

HI,
When you 1st start your cycle it is going to be off for the 1st month or so and even then unless you are on birth control it will always be off a few days here or there. I would mention to your mother that you haven't gotten it yet. When I first got my period which ways 16 yrs ago i kept a callendar and put an x in the day started and the day I ended my period to try and keep track. Unless u have had sex there isnt any cause for alarm here. If it keeps happening you should talk to your mom.
