This may sound really dumb but I get really nervous just before I see my boyfriend. Like I start shivering and not feeling hungry or sick and I get a weird feeling in my stomach. I usually have to pretend to my bf that I'm cold so I'm shivering. If someone asks my a question my voice trembles ans I have to swallow about 3 times during the time I'm talking. I hate it, it feels awful and I really want to be able to see him without feeling so nervous and edgy all the time. Please, does anyone know what this is and how I can fix it???

But remember, the whole "I'm cold" excuse isn't going to work for long.
Just tell him that you're nervous or shy around him. I'm sure he would understand.
I don't know of any ways to reduce adrenaline other than using some stress-management techniques. Take slow long breaths, relax all the muscles in your body one at a time, go for a quick jog, talk yourself down, meditate, and more. Good luck. :) [ sizzlinmandolin's advice column | Ask sizzlinmandolin A Question ]
