You can make him a mix CD. You can get him cologne, a new shirt or two, picture frame with a picture of the two of you in it, gift cards, a book he wants, a CD he wants. You can bake him cookies or cupcakes.

What does he like?
If he likes sports, you can get him a jersey for his favorite team. If he has a certain baseball team he likes, you can get him a personalized baseball jersey from that team. It costs around $100, but it's definitely worth it. :)
If you guys take a lot of pictures, you can make him a scrapbook.
Maybe you can buy him a necklace as well. Clothes would work too so if you see something at the mall that's his size, I'd buy it for him. :)
