What does bipolar mean?
Ok, everyone at my school is saying bipolar and i have no clue what it is! Can some one tell me? Cuz lyk is it a problem or something? Tell me plz. Thankz!

its kind of a disorder that causes you to act really happy at times, but then 30 seconds later you could be screaming your lungs out, and then 5 minutes later bouncing off the wall (mood swings)

its a inbalence in the brain. my mom has it. and sometimes its really hard to deal with. cause one second she will be happy. the next she will be like godzilla.

It means that your moods change spontaneously. Almost like there's two people inside of you at once.
You'll be happy one minute, and wanting to rip someone's head off the next.
Only a doctor can really diagnose you though.

Bipolar Disorder is a serious problem some people become diagnosed with where the person can have quick, multiple moods at once, and it's something they can't control. They can be happy one minute, but if one thing is said by a person and it makes them upset, they can get very angry over it.

So the kids at your school may be refering to people who might be emotional about stuff and are sensitive to things. They're probably not literally calling someone bipolar. It's kind of like the word, gay. It was meant as one thing, but now it's also meant as "stupid" and whatnot.
