Teething Babies

Question Posted Tuesday October 24 2006, 10:01 pm

I'm 16 and a mother of a little baby. I think he may be teething. What do you think is the best way to relieve the pain? Besides like teething rings.

There are several things you can do. You can put a wash cloth in the freezer and let him chew on it, you can put some Baby Orajel on him, give him an infant pain reliever, or try some teething tablets. I used a combination of Orajel and teething tablets and it worked like a charm. You can find teething tablets in the vitamin section at Wal-Mart. They're tiny little white pills that almost immediately disolve so they don't pose a choking hazard.

Invest in some baby orajel. I found it to be a god send when my kids were teething. Not all babies are real fans of teething rings. Good luck.

Orajel works wonders, but an 'old time' thing, a piece of leather that he can chew on will cut those teeth faster.

Hey I had the same problem. I am 16 and have a baby as well. I found that when he first started teething some things that work are putting the teething rings in the FRIDGE (NEVER PUT THEM IN THE FREEZER THEY WILL BURST!!!!!) Also I found that if your baby uses nooks if you put just a little bit of flavored Baby Oragel on the nook they will feel much better because then the nook rubs on their teeth and it numbs the gums as well. So if that doesn't work for you send a message to my inbox and let me know, I can ask some other mothers their opinion and let you know.

Hope I helped!

Remember DO NOT put the teething rings in the freezer USE THE FRIDGE!
