Homecoming Girl I Danced With

Question Posted Sunday October 15 2006, 12:59 pm

Alright, homecoming was last night and it was alright nothing special, but my main goal that night was to try and get with my ex again, i just cant stop thinking about her. Well it was coming to the end of the dance and she was there with some other kid but they weren't going out. So with support from my friend I got the courage to ask her to dance (which really wasn't that hard to ask her i think it's overated) but anyway she said yes and it was the best feeling in the world to dance with her then at the end of the song she gave me this amazing feeling hug which lasted like 10 seconds then she said she had to go so she left then i left. But what im really wondering is do you think i have a chance of getting back together with her?? please any help is appreciated.

I think you so have some chance of getting back together, however it is going to take some work. Be her friend first and gain back all the trust you had at the start, before you started going out. Then, and only then, you can flirt a bit more and maybe ask her out again.
If she says no, don't feel bad, she may just feel uncomfortable going out with you again.

well if she didn't refuse to dance with you & she hugged you, then there still is a chance.
maybe you should try & give her some attention, hint things around.
or you could just be completely courageous & blunt and ask her back out. i'm sure it'll work out fine :]

Well, maybe. She obviously doesn't hate you if she accepted your offer to dance, and she may still have feelings for you if she gave you a hug. So the best advice to give in this situation is to simply talk to her about it. Yeah, I know that is sucks, but it's the only solution to this problem. Just talk to her, ask if she ever misses the relationship you guys used to have.
