You can buy one of those cameras that photographers use and take pictures of wat you like and wat your interested in.like if you like naturs you can go outside and take pictures of nature. And if you like animals you can go to the zoo and take pictures.HOPE I HELPED!

I am trying to pursue the same career myself, so what I've just been doing is I've purchased a camera and I just walk around the neighborhood or wherever and I take my camera with me wherever I go and whenever I see a good photo opportunity, I take a shot and upload it onto my computer later. I've also created a photography account on Photobucket so I can sort of view all my pictures that I've taken at once and delete the ones I don't want, and keep the ones I do.

Also, I've joined photography class and am taking advanced photography during the next half of the year to learn more on cameras and different ways to work with teh camera and take even possibly better pictures.

Like the other advicenator said below, maybe even think about joining the year book because you're always having to take pictures of things, and it'll also be good on your college application if you're trying to get into an arts major at the college or take a photography class of some sort.

I hope I helped.

i went to an arts high school and i had a lot of friends that were Visual Artists who were very interested in being photographers. Anywho.. bascially you want to build a portfolio of you work and just take pictures of what you think is art to you.

~Join photography classes either at school or look in the phone book/search the internet for photography classes near you. I'm pretty good at searching for things...so if you just give me your city, state and surrounding citys you'd be willing to drive to...I can search photography classes for you. Just send something to my inbox!

~Buy a camera (or if you already have one) start taking pictures of nature, family+friends, etc.

~Join the yearbook team at school...you'll be taking photos of everything :]

&& thats pretty much it. If you stick to it, you'll be a pro. And the classes will help a lot!

Good luck!
