junior high boys and sex
im in 8th grade, and please dont tell me that it is too young to be having sex--I KNOW!! i am a christian, and it's just that i live in a really small town, and so everybody just seems to know when you've lost your virginity, and i dont know, its just that there is quite a bit of pressure put on having sex. but my question is, is that ive heard that you have a less chance of getting pregnant while on your period. i would just die if i decided to have sex and ended up getting pregnant!! but the problem is, is that i dont know if guys will have sex if a girl is on her period. is that gross to them??

don't listen to any rumors. you can get pregnant while you are on your period. you can get pregnant anytime. it's just less common for girls to get pregnant while being on their periods. if you don't want to have sex, then don't. wait until you find someone you love, because if you lose it now to just some kid, you'll regret it very much when you finally find someone you love very much.
my boyfriend doesn't think it's gross to have sex while i'm on my period. but some guys do. it's a personal preferance. just ask them.

yea basically you cant get pregnant when your on your period because the egg is getting washed out, so unless the sperm likves for weeks, which is impossible. basically yea its disgusting during a period though because its messy

It's nearly impossible to resist the urge to tell you to not do it because of your age, haha. But to answer your question you have equal chance without protection no matter when you do it. The best bet is to not do it at all (even in high school) Or at least get to know the person REALLY well first so you know they don't have any STDs. The worst thing in the world would be for you to get AIDS and have your life go down the drain that early (or at any age for that matter)

I won't tell you not to have sex because of your age. Just don't fall for the peer pressure thing. Having sex will not make you cooler, will not make you more acceptable, and will not make boys like you as a person any more. So stick to your beliefs, whatever those are!
You can actually get pregnant on your period. Some guys will have sex with a menstruating girl. From what my guy friends have said, it's almost better because there is more lubrication... but it's really no safer than any other time of your cycle.

Don't believe what you hear.
There's always a chance you could get pregnant. Even if you have protection, you don't have your period that day or you are on it.
That's why you shouldn't have sex now. Because there's always a chance but when you're older.. you can handle the situation better.

Please don't fall for that. You can get pregnant ANY
