Period before Friday...

Question Posted Tuesday September 19 2006, 11:04 am

My friend and I have been planning to go to the movies with our boyfriends this friday since last week. I started my period today and it made me a little dissapointed.. is there ANY way I can make sure it's done by Friday?

Thanks

There's no way you can control when your period is going to stop. Although, I wish you could.

no sorry you can't control your period, it comes when it comes. i heard if you excersize a lot like run 7 miles in a day that sometimes it can either postpone or eliminate your period. it worked for my friend. you could try working out heavily and MAYBE (i'm not making any promises) you won't not get your period since it worked for my friend, but everyone is different so it may not work. just be confident and have a great time with your boyfriend and your friends because your period won't stop you from having the time of your life. good luck :)

sorry, but you cant make it end.
just change the tampon several times during the day, because that means that you wont bleed as much at the time of the date, (once blood comes, it automatically goes to the cotton, so that way it should be a bit less by the time of the date)

Volleyball2150 answered Tuesday September 19 2006, 5:18 pm:
hmm... I'm not really sure if that's possible. I got my period a few weeks ago and about a few days later I had a volleyball tournament. I was hoping that it was done by then. But really... it wasn't. You see, you cant control your mentruation. You cant control when it happens, or when it stops. So my answer is that there's no possible way to make it be done. Just wear a pad or tampon and act natural when you're on your date. Don't worry about it and just have fun.

I hope I helped!

PS: I was looking through questions and saw a question with an answer that said if you have stress, that may cause your period to come later. sooo... I'm not sure if that helps.

There's really no way you can stop your period a day before or anything. You'll just have to hope for it to. But if you guys are just going to the movies, just use a pad or tampon whatever you use, and I'm sure you'll be fine. I hope I helped.
