There may be a few reasons, have had a lot of stress, weight lose or changed your habits alot, as far as exercise...or are you around a different group of females, most females that are around a certain group of females will change their pattern and began to have a period at the same time of the month...if it does not correct in a couple of weeks, go see a guyno... New cycle , that is the irregularity experienced by some young girls at the onset of the periods. Their cycle can be irregular for months or years whilst it is establishing itself.
Dietary problems , eg anorexia, bulimia or simply poor diet
Too much exercise
Drugs - prescription and recreational
Break in routine
Thoughts and emotions
Sexual activity - especially when it is a new occurrence - in your case NOT
Anxiety about pregnancy
Illness or physiological imbalance eg thyroid conditions
you have nothing to worry about, however, if you're still unsure and feel that something is not right, then there is no harm in going to the doctors and getting it checked out.
i hope that i have helped
xoxo

xEVYx answered Tuesday September 19 2006, 4:43 pm: It's just irregular. It happens to every girl atleast once in their life, it's normal. It may take years for it to be regular EVERY time.& sometimes stressing over it, can cause it to be even later. So, don't worry!
iiloveyouu answered Tuesday September 19 2006, 3:58 pm: dont worry if your a virgin then you have nothing to worry about! people skip a months all the time i had a friend who didnt get it for 9 months and she was a virgin! [ iiloveyouu's advice column | Ask iiloveyouu A Question ]
MummuM answered Tuesday September 19 2006, 2:41 pm: Did you just start your period for the first time, like a year or so ago? If so, a lot of girls have irregular periods. Sometimes it comes on time and sometimes it doesn't. Since you are a virgin you have nothing to worry about, like being pregnant. Your period is just irregular. It'll come, sooner or later. Don't worry about it. [ MummuM's advice column | Ask MummuM A Question ]
