You can get a variety of different sized tampons, so try a slim fit, and if you have a heavy flow, slim fit with extra absorbency.
You do need to practise to get the angle right, but once you have it you should have no further problems.
Hope that helps and enjoy the party. [ isis's advice column | Ask isis A Question ]
duudee_advicer answered Thursday September 14 2006, 7:28 am: I was terrified of tampons for the longest time.
It took me about half a year to work up the courage to trying them. Sure, it may hurt a little bit the first time, but trust me, the pain goes away VERY quickly.
Also, the more you try to put them in, the more little tricks you learn to making the tampon slide in easier.
Just relax, breathe steadily, angle the tampon up and slighty towards your butt, and slowly push the tampon in until your fingers touch your vagina. Then push in the applicator and wa-la!
