Nallie answered Wednesday September 13 2006, 11:24 pm: If the "sick and paranoid" feeling inhibits your quality of life you should consult a psychiatrist for proper diagnosis and treatment. While these things that you do bring you some relief, it is only temporary until you are faced with the next obsessive impulse. In otherwords, there is no way you can ever be completely happy living with these feelings. Even if you could learn to feel content and just go on with things the way they are, you'd probably drive other people crazy which in turn would affect you also.
As far as having OCD or not. No one here can properly diagnose you, but I can tell you that you have symptoms of OCD. Please seek help, your happiness depends on it. [ Nallie's advice column | Ask Nallie A Question ]
needtobe answered Tuesday September 12 2006, 11:07 pm: Every 1/3 people have mild OCD, I learned from a friend that got checked up for OCD. Just go to the doctor and ask, it's pretty simple. Just tell them you're a little concerned with your own habits.
Hope I helped. [ needtobe's advice column | Ask needtobe A Question ]

I know people who are perfectionists and they aren't as extreme as that. Not to like be rude but you really should talk to a therapist and find out. Zo answered Sunday September 10 2006, 12:40 am: Yes, I do believe that is a big sign of OCD. I am not trying to be rude, just honest. Maybe you should go and see a doctor...I have heard of multiple "cures" of OCD that help you not do so many Obsessive Compulsive rituals. Hope that helps! [ Zo's advice column | Ask Zo A Question ]
