there are these two cliches and i dont know which one i should be in. the one i want to be in is the preps and stuff;but i hang out with the other because i dont know how to fit in. should i move with the one i want to be in and see what happes? what if the other gets mad and stuff? help, i hate cliches
MelLeDisko answered Thursday September 7 2006, 10:16 pm: You shouldn't have to stick to just ONE clique. If you want to hang out with everybody, you can. That's what I do. I talk to all sorts of types of people, so I'm not categorized as just one thing, I'm friends with everybody. And the more the merrier, right? I don't think they'll get mad. If they do, they're pretty immature if they're not going to let you make other friends and socialize with other types of people. So just talk to everyone, make a bunch of different friends, and have fun. :] I hope I helped. [ MelLeDisko's advice column | Ask MelLeDisko A Question ]

I recommend being outgoing and sweet to everyone that way if you don`t feel like hanging out with one certain group one day you can hang out with someone else.
Keep people's secrets, don't lie.
Hang out with people that make you feel good,
make sure you can be yourself around them.
No one likes fakes, trust me.

Be friends with everyone. Be your own person. Cliques are stupid, and pointless. They usually cause drama, and feelings usually get hurt. And besides, they don't last forever. I'm not saying the friendships you get when you're not in a clique do, but they sure last a lot longer. Just hang out with everyone. You'll like it more. And if these cliques get mad at you because you wanna hang out with other people; well then they were never true friends in the first place, and they're not the kind of people you should surround yourself with. I hope I helped.
OooSooPreppyX3 answered Thursday September 7 2006, 6:01 pm: I think cliques are a waste of time....I just hang out with whooever! haha! well, whatever group of people you feel more comfortable with I would just go with them...then see what happens. If the other group get mad..inbox me and we'll take it from there. But..if she gets mad, then I personally don't think its worth it unless she's a 500 pound sumo wrestler [[which i highly doubt! haha!]] and whats the worst thing she could do?

cliques.
anyway
if the clique you're in now pushes feelings of hate on you for expanding your social life and being more optomistic, then you have no reason to befriend any of them.
If someone gets mad at you for hanging out with someone that's not them, then they are selfish for 'not allowing' it.
Just go hangout with the new group and see if you like them.
talk to your FRIENDS and if they start to get mad, then I guess you can't really call them friends anymore.
and it's time to make new ones.
