Lazy me

Question Posted Monday September 4 2006, 8:19 pm

14/f/143 lb

Ya, I'm fat. But that's because there's nothing to do! I live miles away from a swimming pool, I'm not into sports like basketball or softball, I get bored of stupid little execises like situps and stretchs that are supposed to work your muscles. I can't get interested in doing anything physical although I know I need to lose weight badly because I look HORRIBLE. But what is there to do? NOTHING holds my attention!

Bike ride. Ive already lost 17 lbs in the past 3 months from bike riding everyday and gained back at least 10% muscle as a result of doing this. Bike ride to the nearest swimming pool. Take a dip. Go back home and relax. Also diet has a lot to do with weight and how much body fat you carry. Start eating lots of fiber. (apples, broccoli, ect)

I would reccomend exercising with a friend, that always makes things so much more fun!! Maybe even make it a competition on who can excercise//lose ((if needed)) more, and eat healthier. You wont want to slack, because most likely, you'll want to impress your friend!!
Also, think about other sports that aren't as common.. maybe learn something like gymnastics, or take a dance lesson.
Good luck! =)

Most of the time that people get over weight is because of there diet. Have you always been bigger or if not how recently have you been noticing the weight changes?

get a tredmill if you dont have one and run on it while your watching television to keep your mind occupied.do situps while your watching tv too or listening to music.just run and excersize while doing something you like so that way you wont get bored.it helps.

Hike, if theres some woods go for a walk, and a few miles isnt that bad, at first yeah, but you get used to it pretty quick, be sure to carry some pepper spay, living in the middle of no where isnt that safe you know.
