Why is it that mothers don't want their daughters to wear thongs?

moms probably view thongs as being sexual and sexy; and they don't want their daughters to be wearingg them because of boyss & stuff.

mostly because thongs are sexy and skimpy and moms dont think there daughters should wear that kind of stuff and they always think..well nobody ever sees your underwear anyway right? WRONG. when you wear anything besides thongs and sometimes booty shorts the seams show through your pants and thats just embarassing! but moms dont think that its important but really to teenage girls it is. if your having trouble like talking to your mom about wearing them just ask her and tell her they are MUCH more comfortable and at the store be like can i get these? thats what i did! and my mom was like why do you want those..and im like i dont know because i dont want lines! and she is like uhh ok you can buy one but now she even buys them for me because she knows thats the only kind i will wear! ♥

A lot of moms are very protective and they probably associate thongs with yeast infections and of course they don't want you to get one.Also, thongs are a "sexy" kind of underwear and they probably think if you wear them you're starting to let boys get in your pants because thongs attract men.

Mom's can be very over protective,don't want to see their daughters grow up,want them to stay small so they don't have to worry about them dating boys,moving on,then getting married,have that fear that they'll lose their daughter, and if that's the case with your mom let her know it won't so she doesn't keep worrying about it.

Wearing thongs alot can cause yest infections, which mothers don`t want their daughters to have. Also, a thong is considered sexy, and the mother might feel uncomfortable with their daughter wearing a sexy piece of clothing. I'm sure once the girl is older her mother will let her wear one.

So really, they're only looking out for your health.
and mothers these days always associate thongs with boys and the likes! and don't like to see their daughters growing up and experiencing other things. :)

Usually they feel that thongs are too 'sexy' for young girls to wear, and that they should wait until they are older.
