how can you make yourself happy? because I can't seem to do it. I'm completely miserable, and I dont think its healthy for me toi be so negative.

you can't make yourself happy... believe me, i know... i suffer from depression... it ain't fun... but you get used to it... i ain't sayin don't do anything to try to fix your unhappyness... the most important thing you can do is talk to someone about what's making you feel this way... it'll help you understand better of what's wrong... and hopefully you'll soon find a way to fix whatever's wrong... if you need to talk you can IM me on AIM or yahoo... both are forestwulf627... another thing that helps when you feel like that s to think about someone you love or have ever loved... the one person you care about more than anyone else... think about the memories you've shared with this person... i hope you feel better soon

You don't have to lift weights, any excercise will work. You'll feel better about yourself and be healthier. But if you are depressed, you should go to the doctor.

Well, the number one secret to happiness would have to be optimism. You said that negativity isn't healthy, and you're right.
Life isn't going to be perfect all the time. You're going to go through hard times. There will be times when you feel alone, scared, and unloved. Everyone feels those painful emotions sometimes; it's a part of life.

Have you ever noticed that there are happy, optimistic people and there are also the people who seem sad and negative? Well, you may think, "Oh, those people who smile all the time have better lives." That's not exactly true. Everyone feels pain, at some point. The optimists just make the best of what they have, rather than dwelling on how bad things are.

If you're going through a bad time, you can't just mope around thinking, "Wow, my life sucks." That doesn't get you anywhere. You need to have hope. Have faith in yourself, faith that you will get through whatever life throws at you. Have faith that you will find happiness. Instead of saying, "Oh, this sucks," think something like, "I know it's hard right now, but things will get better for me!"

But, if you think that you have depression, you need to talk to your mom or dad about seeing a psychiatrist or a psychologist who can help you.

You might have a depression problem if you can't make yourself happy at all. You should try to go to a doctor and maybe he'll prescribe you anti-depressant pills. If not; just surround yourself with things that make you happyy. Watch your favorites movie, hang out with friends, listen to your favorite music..etc..

It depends on your situation. Surround yourself with anything that makes you happy. If you like music, try to have some playing a lot of the time. Talk with friends. Bright colors usually boost morale, too. If you think it's bad enough, you may need to go to a psychiatrist to get anti depressants. Good luck on getting happier!
