Once I gave my boyfriend a bag full of chocolate kisses with a little note that said "Some spare kisses for when I'm not around." Other really sweet ideas include making a photo album or scrapbook of yall together. Even a single red rose, sounds funny to give to a guy, but he would actually like it.

I did this for my husband way before we were married and he still talks about it.

I got a kleenex box and some nice wrapping paper and wrapped up the box, leaving the hole on top.

Then I got some nice paper and colored pens and wrote down 365 reasons why I love him.

I cut them out and put them in the box.

When I gave it to him, I said here is a reason why I love you for everyday we have been together.

Then I told him that he could only look at 1 per day, so it was the gift that kept on giving!

The reasons can be simple. It could be something he did for you or describing the way he makes you feel, or something like describing what makes you love him. It literally took me 10 minutes to find 365 reasons why I love my husband. It's really easy.

It's cheap and easy, and he will never forget it!

one year is a pretty long time.. lol. but anyways --you should just do something homemade that would be really special. make a mix cd of your guy's favorite songs, make him a card, and just spend time with your love. after the concert, you guys could go out to dinner, then watch movies that night.

Before you guys go to the concert, you should invite him to your house, or show up at his, and maybe make a cd for him and get a picture of you and him and frame it. Then surprise him with it. Maybe have a cake or something good to eat together before/after the concert.

Have fun!

Welll hmm hmm hmmm. I would buy him a new Chesney t-shirt that he could wear to the concert that night and a big old hug. And maybe make him a little card that says something really simple and truthful (cause most, not all, but most don't get the really deep poetry stuff). If it was my guy I would write on a white piece of folded paper.
